Oh my goodness. This is one of the best movies I have ever watched at 5 something am. I don't like profanity yet when I saw how the blind man could maneuver and manipulate his way, I was convinced it would be a good movie. Then it became a serious comedy. I was literally screaming and at this time in the morning what could my neighbors be thinking? I was hysterical. It was hilarious. A really great film. I will share it and watch it again. Thank you sooooo much. So many people call themselves friends with all of their body parts and can see well don't do 1/4i of what the blind man did for friendship. Peace and love for life.

This is the perfect blend. Classic 90's Action/Original Story/The filming is nostalgic but new/The fight scenes highlighted the talent of the actors. There needs to be a sequel, It stands on its own so well and I haven't seen something as great as this in a very long time.

The Cinematography, the writing, the cast... they're all perfect.
This is an absolutely fantastic short film. Unfortunate about the sound quality surrounding Sal's voice in particular, but other than that this might as well have been Hollywood.

I love how we learn most of Walter's backstory just from the box under his bed and the way he fights.
What is that? Explain please
@@ZeddaJahan The box contained a picture of someone important to him, a harmonica, cards and a stack of cash, you can infer a lot of info from these few items. The way he fights also denotes he's been very well trained, and is used to live combat.
Gordon sitting on the chair just watching the fight was the best part. LOL
and 5 years later it is still a very incredible movie,WOW!

A great turn on the Zatoichi and Blind Fury, nicely paced, good casting, great cinematography. This is an amazing movie, beautiful in its simplicity!

@@EricJacobusOfficial Obviously, I can tell right away. The number of preparations that went into making this movie is mindblowing, you clearly care about what you're doing and your audience! I mean you've been learning to act like a blind person, and you've been learning to work with the sword (a lot of iaido training as well, I assume). Honestly, this short movie was one of the best media experiences I had in a year or so! Thank you!

I almost never add a comment. I’ve been living in Japan for almost 50 years, & I just saw my first really good American ‘Chambara’ movie. I’ve been wondering where they all disappeared to. Now I find he’s been hiding them under his bed. Who’d a ‘thunk it’? I’m very glad I stumbled onto it. Now, I’m signed up to his channel, I’d be really happy to find out he had more content like this planned. “Hint, hint”. Long winded, I know, but I’m really excited about his work. “Please, sir, I want some more”.
This is the best and most enjoyable movie for over 10 years. I've been very dissatisfied with movies since the 60s. Thanks 👌and a credit to all involved. Had almost given up on all of the new makers👍👍👍

I came in expecting a 15 minute video, got a 45 minute movie. Already blown my expectations out of the water.
One this was such an amazing film, two it makes me so happy to see that the dealer and the other men where honest and truthful towards Walter and gave him a fair and equal game in the beginning. This was an amazing film and I think with a large budget the director could make a masterpiece

Really Epic! I was totally fooled by the 12 minute short... I was sure that it was Charlie Cox playing his blind man technique. Totally has the Matt Murdock - Daredevil feel... the action scenes were great, pros, obviously... Eric did a fantastic job, I was going to rewatch the 12 minute short, when I came across the 45 minute version. AWESOME FUN!! THANKS

An absolutely great movie. Has the look and feel of Zatoichi and Rutger Hauer's Blind Fury. You could turn this into a series or at least a trilogy.

This has been the best action movie I have seen other than the John Wick films in 2023 and it was made in 2018. I need to see Walter again in another short or full length movie. This reminds me so much of Nick Parker played by Rutger Hauer in Blind Fury. Thank you Mr. Jacobus for something I didn't know I needed to see until I saw it.

As a long time fan of Zato Ichi, I will say this with no reservation. This was better in every way than Rutger Hauger in Blind Fury. This is what that film should have been. I would love to see this as a TV show. Or a line of movies like the original Zato Ichi. I especially loved the humanization of Walter at the beginning that shows his skills and weaknesses as a blind man.where he easily bakes a pie then gets the sour milk, hot sauce and glass upside down all in rapid succession. Please continue with this project.
The fight scenes 👏🏽👏🏽 better than in some movies I’ve seen. The characters and the storyline was really interesting.

I started watching this on the toilet and was so captivated, I didn’t move for the entire duration. Now my legs are numb, I’m afraid of falling over but at least it was a great short movie!

This was great. As of late I've been oversaturated with films to the point where I start but don't finish most. This had me hooked. Yes, there were sound issues with sound quality both from microphones and sfx. I thought most of the acting was great and it was obvious a lot of thought and heart went into this. Good job, I'm looking fwd to more.
