    Superb video... Actually I was growing my plants with soil alone.. just few day's before I bought one bag of dry cow dung and added few portion to each pot ( haven't mixed with soil just poured up ) so pls 1- suggest should I take out each pot and refill like your way 2- As lack of knowledge I didn't know how to make compost so I bought cow dung can I use cow dung in place of compost to refill pots..

    Hi Ekta, I'm one of ur subscribers and love ur videos and loved ur living room tour too. :) u explain in a simple but best way. Inspired by u, I have bought some indoor plants around a week ago. I haven't repotted them yet as you had mentioned in one of your videos that it's good to wait for few days before repotting. Now I'm planning to buy some pots and repot the plants as needed.       Just wonderful, I have been researching "how can i make my potting soil more acidic?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Fonillian Uncomplex Future - (should be on google have a look )?
      It is a great exclusive guide for growing up to 10 times more produce using aquaponics without the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.

    If you add cotton cloth at the bottom of pot its also doing well

      build up of fungus is a problem with cloth

      Not cotton, use synthetic cloth. It has better drainage. I used gravel before but while repotting gravel used to get mixed in soil and had to pick them up. Also it makes the pot heavy.

    Thank u soo much dear .. I was searching for this video for 3 weeks now ... And I wanted this vdo from u ,... Coz I have a succulent plant and it is on my south facing window ( I'm in a dorm room and I have only one window facing south so can't help with dat ... And not direct sunlight as well so my succulent is growing leggy and dieing ... Needed help ) if u can comment something that can help me ... That will be grt ☺️😊😍

      Hi, thanks for your comment.. so good to know that you are growing plants in your dorm.. for the leggy succulent, there is not much we can do in this case.. however, if you like succulents you can try growing Haworthias..

    Do you mind sharing about how you select your pots? And is terracotta better than plastic or both have little to no difference assuming you have a good pot mix. And I'm not so sure about if I have that kind of gravel nearby, is there anything that I can use instead? Btw yours frisbees look cute

    I've not seen garden soil or top soil being used as a component in potting mix. Usually it only comprises of peat moss, vermiculite, compost and fine barks. Are you sure this garden soil wouldn't compact the soil in the long run?

      Basically all this are market strategies to sell other sources,garden soil could be a better option if added equally with compost cocopeat perlite or some sand

    Hi...in the soil less medium...we need cocopeat,vermi compost,perlite,vermiculite...
    Now i wanna ask is it necessary to add cow dung compost,sarso n neem Khali,Epsom salt??

    Hi Ekta.. I love all your videos. Because of people like you I am beginning to develop interest in gardening. I live in an apartment and only have a north facing balcony. It is very bright but doesn't get any direct sunlight. I have read that not many plants like that. Can you suggest me some plants (edible/ornamental) to grow there? Thanks..

      I have done a video on low light plants. That will be helpful for you.. they are mostly easy to grow plants like English ivy, snake plant, ferns etc. Good luck!

    You can also buy these from your nearest plant nursery. I bought all the ingredients today from a nursery near my house. Cocopeat 5kg block - ₹300, vermicompost 1kg packet - ₹50. Thank you.

    Mam m in love with plants but i make use of fertilizer given by nursery person which is not that effective on my plants........... I also wish to make use of vermicompost but very much afraid of worms................. Do worms develop after using vermicompost in my potted plants....... I have done too much research for getting a reply but failed mam............ Hoping for a perfect and detailed reply from ur side.......... I really want to give a healthy life to my plants grown in a flat like yours............. Your balcony garden is a superb inspiration.....

    Hi,
    I'm a beginner. So I've ordered complete garden soil by following the link you've provided. My question is...can grow plants directly in it or do we have to mix regular soil with it?
    Coz packaging says "mix 50% of normal soil"
    I didn't have normal soil so I potted my money plant directly to it...will it be fine? Will my plant survive?

    I ordered "Earth magic " potting soil n coco peat block n wanted to know if need to mix both along with homemade compost?
