I have a project that involves CNCing polycarbonate then sandblasting it to remove all the scratches and imperfections, what would you recommend me to use for the sand blasting material

Hi dear, if you will use a sandblaster gun on plastic objects, we suggest trying baking soda or other soda powder first. If not working well, please try Aluminum oxide.

Just learned about all of this after finding blasting media in my package that I received. Honestly, I’m kinda mad because I feel like it could be toxic to breathe in and the part should’ve been cleaned before putting into a package. Am I overthinking it?

Thank you for your comment. We suggest wearing a face mask and safety glasses before sandblasting.

@@4lilies Thank you for asking this question.
Using chili water or similar irritating substances can be employed for pest control, providing a natural and harmless method.

Hi, we did't test glass bead yet, but you can refer this page www.lematec-tools.com/sandblasting-media-sandblast-reference. Some of buyers used it with our sandblaster gun.

The advantage of glass beads is that it produces a very smooth surface finish. It is not very aggressive however so that is not good at removing rust and coatings. Some users will blast first with a more aggressive abrasive and follow it up with glass beads
