The "Acrylic Painting Story Time" series on my CZcams channel offers viewers a unique opportunity to observe the creative process of a professional artist at work. In this series, Ginger Cook, an accomplished acrylic artist with over 50 years of experience, opens the doors to her studio, allowing art enthusiasts to experience what it's like to be a 'fly on the wall' during her painting sessions. These sessions feature Ginger crafting original artworks, providing a raw and unfiltered glimpse into the meticulous creation of a painting from start to finish. Each session lasts as long as the artist's inspiration and endurance hold for the day, with a single painting possibly spanning 3 to 4 days. Exclusive to Academy members, these pieces of art are a special gift for those who have shown their support by signing up or renewing their memberships for one, two, or three years before January 1, 2024. I love this painting. I really like watching Ginger's process. Makes painting something I would consider too hard, a lot easier..... It is like a painting map! Watching Ginger paint relaxes me and puts me in mellow mood.....or is it my pain meds? No just kidding love these!

This is such a wonderful painting. It brings back memories and thoughts of my grandmother's room. Her dresser was filled with perfume bottles of every kind. Everything in her room was pink and the whole room just glowed pink. She was such a special lady. My mom always loved perfumes and so have I. I love the look of older furniture and the history that it carries. I don't have a house of antiques, but I do have a piece here and there just for memory sake. Thank you for allowing us to join both you and Jon this afternoon and sharing your stories with us once again.

In 1967 I was introduced to my first Kiddle Perfume Doll. This painting takes me back to how much love I had for these miniature dolls inside perfume bottles! I love this painting wow! Also my heart ♥️ sends out so much love for your niece Kim…at 63 that was the most incredible blessed story Ive ever heard! Angels for sure and she had so much to offer the world still…thanks so much for this storytelling…my favorite so far,,,next to the art agent story! It’s Saturday morning and Im painting while listening….😅
Thank you so much. I am never sure how my stories or painting resonate with our artists and am so glad you liked this one. I never saw a miniature doll inside a perfume bottle but I would have been so enthralled with it had I seen one as a child.
These dolls back then cost around 2-$5.00 and now as an antique collectible toy they are hundreds of dollars! Wow wish I still had mine!

I would paint it! yes and yes, didn't get in on the vote but I would love it...I did a similar one with a lady in it but the dressing table with her bottles of perfume I kind of fudged! ha ha

OMG! I was so worried the outcome of that fall out the RV was going to be fatal! This is why you never take your eyes off of your toddler! Kimberly’s guardian angel was working overtime👼 Thank God! I’m always worried for my grandchildren that their parents aren’t watching over them enough. I’m going to have to share this story with them. I sure they’ll love that!
The painting is lovely! I should have scrounged up the money for a year or 2 in the Academy so I could have a chance to win🤷🏻♀️ Next year maybe.
FYI After a while those cortisone injections in your knees don’t work. It used to be like a miracle when I got them, the pain would stop so quickly. Now, after 2-3 years they don’t work at all. That’s where I’m at. Steroids can also wreak havoc on the rest of your body, too. Some of the bad side effects are thin skin, osteoporosis, it raises your blood sugar and can give you diabetes, and can suppress your adrenal glands.
the people who opted for a year to 3 year membership ALL get an original and different painting. The size depends on wether a red membership or purple and how many years they choose. If you has signed up as an annual member in Nov. or Dec. of 2023 you would have for sure gotten an original painting.
