Thanks for this bro, set my blind on the walk over point at the first spot and boy did I see some Elk in the morning. And unravelling the footprints and blood trails :D I look forward to checking it at different times of day. Got a tent set up at the lake and as soon as I got out I could hear a bear warning me!

My best advice to someone would be; don't always hunt the same spots over and over, i have got most of my Rares by working new spots for a day or two. All animals need to drink so work all the Lakes/Rivers,
also alot of people don't use the Codex it provides alot of information on the animals likes and habits.
When Medved was released i was doing a mission to cull pigs out of an area, i was struggling to even spot any so i went to Reddit (as you do) and someone explained this to me, turns out I was hunting at the wrong time, pigs are nocturnal and sure enough i started my hunt at midnight and was less than 100m away from the outpost and spotted 6 running straight past me, that night i must of got about 15/20 of them.
Ever since then i have used the Codex religiously and been far more successful at tracking whatever i decide go for..

These spots are great as I got three gold white tails in ten minutes thanks to this and the northwestern river is flooded with moose and elk

Oh man, the third I knew. But the second, and after all the first one with the moose is horrible! I played for two hours around there and it was absolutely amazing! Points, over points over points! But not only Moose and Blacktail, I had many Roosvelt too! Unbelievable! Thank you so much, especially for the first advice! :-D
Had trouble finding any elk. Went to the first spot, waiting for about 15 mins & the whole place was flooded with elk!

Yup all of these spots are great, the 1st spot is very good as you go up the river a lot of elk and moose

The best of the best. I just restarted my character after two years of play and hitting level 38. Pro tip for anyone thinking of restarting a character: Get the Weapon Pack 2 DLC first if you don't already have it. You'll hate yourself otherwise. lol. I don't mind grinding out the levels for a second time but it'd be ridiculous to do it all over again if I didn't have those weapons at my disposal.
Totally agree with that, the mosin and the drilling shotgun are just amazing.

The crossing just south west of balmont lake is always loaded with animals crossing there. Have taken 3 mythical coyotes there and several gold white tails and moose

is there an updated more current version of this? Is there some kind of settings that can be made which spawns more animals? You and other CZcamsrs seem to get a lot more animals in an area at the same time. I sure don't see as many as you all do.

Came into first spot at 6:50 am and couldn't believe how many Moose I saw I shot four just standing there and the others were so oblivious lol

Awesome tips...but I need serious help. I set up a tent on the exact hill at the junction crossing. I spawned there at night, and it was quiet, and soon became like a highway. I shot 2 or 3, and it got quiet. I had a critical, and the blood turned to very low, then disappeared. There are so many criss crossing tracks, that it gets overwhelming. Then the other i couldn't even find the original hit point, and only low blood. I could look out further digging for the kills, but more animals keep flooding in...right around the tent. They are so close, that the big ones trot as soon as they have me in sight. I am so overwhelmed to want to find my kills, and with so much traffic, I just watch them all pass. I only have a second before they are out of a good shot. It get's quiet, so i want to find my kills, but then here they come again. I have found this lately in several busy times like this. At Cheelah lake, an entire herd of whitetails was over there, and I was nailing them..or maybe missing completely? I go over there and I can understand if there is no blood if I missed, but no tracks??? A herd was just there! I did find one elk from another herd/hill, but that was it. A tracking/hunting video for these scenarios would be great.
Just a thought, tracks are only visible at night with your headlamp on

Best spot for BIG bears is a small lake that’s not shown on the map. SW corner of the map north of the Roonachee Western Outpost. Go north of that lake about 500-700m, just north east of the hunting structure up there. Large bears coming through there all the time. Occasional elk, black tails and white tails also.
Yup, i got 2 Diamond Blacktail, 1 Diamond Mallard and some other rares which i don't remember.

I’m also new but, I have found piles of wood on the ground with a greenish tarp on them and an axe in a stump and if you go up to it you’ll get the option to build it for money hope this helps

@@drubrasi261 If you get anywhere close on the map, you'll see a little island in the water that's shaped roughly like a fish. Put a waypoint on the fish head and it will get u super close. Wish I could throw up a video explaining it better.

@@drubrasi261 It looks like it's just inside the right border of High Lake district. Looking at my map, the tail of the fishy-looking island is practically touching the letter E where my map states HIGH LAKE.

The first spot is so crazy. I find some moose and about 100 Roosevelt elk all in a herd. The only thing that sucks is I’m trying to get a diamond moose or a diamond elk but all I can find are females

I found a blacktail hotspot i normally see around 20 deer or like 10 elk there at 18:00 its the closest lake to the mountain in cheelah and u go there look around and boom or if u don't see any just call them in and they will come I got my biggest blacktail buck there so could u plz tell me if it is a good hotspot or possibly make a vid I am a youtuber with 7 subs but currently I do not have a mic to record a vid on my PlayStation so

I have got 3 diamonds out of the lake he has the tent at near the mushroom lake. On my personal map it's the better lake in my opinion

This video sadly isnt as accurate anymore as it used to be. Some of the spots are still ok, but overall nowhere near the same

I walked to the first spot and got a roosevelt elk
I went to the first spot and a pack of whitetail all ran at me I got one it was silver
So I watch this video and I went to the position for I set down a tent I seen him one time and I couldn't get a shot so I left him alone so I went back around 30 minutes later and I seen him again and couldn't get a shot on him again so I went back one last time and I got a spine shot on a legendary moose and before that I killed a albino cow moose

Its cz he has more need zones than you probably I grind for need zones it's called need zone stacking and my map Is loaded with zones

Except of a few times, i do encounter large herds but not very often.
