As we all know, Old Delhi is really popular for all kinds of street food. Established in 1928, Makhan Lal Tika Ram is a sweet shop in Kashmere Gate, immensely popular for their lassi & doodh jalebi. Their bedmi poori is also really popular. It makes for the perfect winter breakfast along with a glass of doodh jalebi. While a glass of lassi is perfect of the Delhi summers. The lassi is churned for hours until it gets a slightly reddish colour, and it is so thick it’s almost like a whole meal in itself.
So, head here this Janmashtami with your street food loving gang to take on this awesome lassi challenge!
