His balance and footwork is downright phenomenal to watch. He’s a power striker but he glides across the ground in such a smooth and steady fashion. He really does stalk his prey!
That's made in China. Most of the time it doesn't last long and you will have to buy a new one all over again. 😅😅😅
The way he calmly applies pressure is impressive! He’s very patient for a striker.
@@blasblasblas2094 casually racist, youre a weirdo
That's shows how hard he trains mabu ( horse stance ) 😊
When Kim was on his back and Xie had just stood up, it was HILARIOUS how Xie just grabbed Kim's ankle and, literally, started kicking Kim's butt 😂
I loved it because he conditions Kim to expect it and i think Kim thought he could catch his breath and then Xie switches last second to throw a massive haymaker to try and end it. Brilliant fight IQ.
Never underestimate the legs of a Shaolin Monk. If you watch their daily training, you'll know they never heard of skipping leg day.
Their version of leg day makes the entire western hemispheres population look like a bunch of jello legged people lol.
1 word .... Horse stance 😊
I heard that Muay Thai fighters are just as powerful their knees and kicks sound like a firecracker went off.
@@minimonkeyplayTruth their kicks are so powerful it looks like someone pulled a rug from underneath you how fast you fall. Not to mention the average human is getting their leg snapped in half like a twig by masters
Xie's peripheral vision is immense. Seeing those kicks and just being out of the way of them, some of those strikes as well, especially against Agasa. Baiting him into a heavy throw and shifting out the way of it.
It's easy to see your opponents body when they're 4 feet
@@muhbussy9813harder to predict then, no? Because they would have a harder time avoiding the “4-step away” attack coming at them.
Xie is epic. An incredible sportsman
I dont like how agasa has just ONE plan in the whole fight - like " i nEeD a tAeKdowN" - that cuddeling is going no where - xie has brilliantly defended those attempts and continued using clean technique in standup FIGHTING
Not to mention just feinting and doing big footwork for no reason constantly draining his stamina while xie essentially just holds ground
Fr I hate takedown spammers
Bro maybe he is not good at striking and he knew it that's why went for the takedown
Yeah this is why I'm not so crazy about watching MMA. Its also not much use if the other person is allowed to bite. He would be taking chunks out of his face everytime he was pushing him against the cage.
It's MMA, you people gotta shut up about when people want to wrestle and do jujitsu, or just watch the muy-thai and kick boxing divisions of ONE championship.
You people are so fricken annoying, STOP COMPLAINING THAT THEY USE A MIXTURE OF DIFFERENT MARTIAL ARTS IN A SPORT LITERALLY CALLED MIXED MARTIAL ARTS.
apart from that, yeah I agree Agasa was very 1 dimensional and was completely outclassed in this fight.
14:03 Kim used the “illegal sibling” move 😂 When u have a fight with your sibling and they pull that move
I was thinking the same thing Lmaoo🤣
especially when he grabbed Kim's feet
i don't watch alot of fighting stuff, but i can tell Xie is very good at damage mitgation, very good at cornering his opponent, and the man has some very fast hands. but all that and he's probably one of the most level headed calm fighters i've ever seen, and very hard to take down. the way he moves and responds in almost complete sync with his opponent, means he's prepared for just about anything. very skilled individual.
His control of distance and spacing is robotically perfect. VERY talented fighter and his style is so entertaining to watch!
This is the type of guy you don't wanna mess with
This just randomly came up in my feed and I had to stop and watch just because of his crazy footwork
Take down defense from Xie was nuts
modern shaolin training incorporates mma style sparring. that in combination with the hyper-focused reflexes discovered through meditation and the uncanny grit from some of the training they do makes them some of the best fighters
The Xie ve Chan fight was great. Both of them so much speed, power, and endurance, and with crazy strong kicks too
Yeah if only Chan didn’t almost knock himself over every time
What a fighter, strength, stamina,Shaolin monk is highly tempered.
Xie's final liver hit on Kim was absolutely insane man, nobody is gonna just power through that one
Palm heel strike? That was a slap.
IT WAS A SLAAAP!!! 😂
Discombobulate
I like that Shaolin guy. What kind of iron is he made if ?
He has speed, stamina, techniques and doesn't even flinch when recieving body shots.
it is because shaolin monks train incredible hard to have this body toughness.
@@shdwmereYeah, I watch Jhonny English. These guys are invincible even kick to their balls.
@@FnD4212 thats a comedy movie
@@somker-zw1mg That's a great comedy movie hahahaha
Xie has an amazing range of different shots and he's able to combine them at will. Phenomenal fighter !
He just keeps on coming forward
Those were some awesome fights! Thanks One!
he looks amazing
Shaolin is all about the nature of body movement. They have countless styles and moves, and all of them are perfectly adapted to how human body works best. That's a reason he did those powerful attacks with little observable effort.
At 6:13 xie throws a elbow and you can literally hear the wind
0:18 is literally the craziest block and counter to a kick I've ever witnessed. Man was in the zone.
Xie after Agasa's fight - "Thx for hugs darling" 😂
Shaolin Monk? The title is wrong.
The announcer is correct Shaolin trained is correct.
Very composed and patient style, but also pushes his opponents with pace.
How come they don’t mention of the obvious difference in physical strengths? XIE is clearly fighting a much stronger human being.
because it depends on how u view muscle definition doesn’t always mean stronger
@@thotting exactly. @jazzguitarcollege, he is a former shaolin monk. Look up their training. What they do on a daily basis for physical and mental strength is awe aspiring.
The much stronger person ran away the whole fight? Clearly Xie has more power.
Size doesn't determine strength my manypu can be physically smaller and still be stronger than the other dude. Depending on methods of training. Calithenics is a massive example of size to power ratio as well as muscle definition and appearance
@@lights0ut503just learned recently that good hypertrophy doesn’t always equate to strength. Strength is actually a lot more mental than we give credit for.
Must be annoying for Xie to fight Agasa.
"If only there's no rule against elbowing the back of the head..." Probably going through Xie's mind.
one guy struggling to finds a way to win while other guy just having fun
A Shaolin priest doesn't sell his soul for rice.
THATS WHAT CHOP SUEY 6 MONTH MMA BLACK BELT ENTHUSIASTS
DON'T GET\UNDERSTAND
Afaik shaolin monks are Buddhist so the whole “soul” thing doesn’t quite apply to them…
This dudes hunting while they're surviving lol.
A real Shaolin monk trains for hours everyday. It’s pretty hard to beat a bonafide Shaolin monk if he goes full throttle.
Most dont even spar so would be completely useless in combat,if they train sanda tjen mma they have potential
@@scarred10WHY DO PEOPLE THINK YOU CAN ACTUALLY "!?S-P-A-R!?" WHEN TRAINING REAL[ COMBAT] !?

@@scarred10the sheer duration and intensity of their training already puts them at an advantage against someone who merely trains 3 times a week in a gym.
They're strong, fast, flexible, and resistant to pain and fatigue.

NOT BEING TAUGHT A TECHNIQUE ON THURSDAY AND FULL CONTACT SPARRING ON SATURDAY
There are two types of Shaolin: Northern and Southern. Both are real. People who talk negatively about Shaolin have never met actual Shaolin practitioners, particularly the ones from China.
If you still don't believe it, book a ticket, go to China and spar with an actual 32nd to 36th Chamber of Shaolin and you will know.

XIE WILL AND DESIRE TO DOMINATE HIS OPPONENT IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE SECOND THEY LOSE FAITH OR GET TIRED HE JUST TURNS UP THE HEAT 🔥😂
I would not want to be on the receiving end of any of Xie's knees. Ouch 😬
Xie Wei tried to pull a Rampage slam. All heavy hitters try to do that.
Actually my new favorite fighter, hes collected and a quick thinker
Xie is just playing with these guys.
U look at xie then u know what are those mabu (horse stance) training for 😊
Thanks Shaolin monk.
Intelligent, aware, Watchful, adaptive, patient, Versatile.
兩位都很辛苦加油加油
This guy is an artist, beautiful
He's fast! And accurate 👌
The take down grapplers are the most pathetic "I get on top of you and punch you."
Ill put it this way.... agasa has all those accolades, and xie was still very aggresive the whole match... managed to reverse many of those take downs and made agasa worry about those hands... so... i mean... i guess im saying hats off to both but xie definitely showed out for the monks here.
With all that telegraphed attempts of takedown going for both legs the knee coming to the face was just a matter of time
hes really an amazing fighter, fighting against him must be like trying to chop down a thin steelbar with your shins
Woww nguyen vs Xie best fight omg😮
I don’t think I even realize how fast this man is and I just watched him for a half hour against three game opponents.
Amazing fighter
I know nothing about MMA but the title got me interested and I gotta say, that Chan guy looked so scared in the beginning of the fight
Bro knoced down the opponent in first 15 sec and commentators didnt even react lmao
He got that chi gong power
Esse é o meus lutadores favorito, afimiro o kung fu, admiro os shaolins, admiro XIE
I'd love to hear the backstory of this main character.
Tbh in general I have negative judgement towards people who exclusively practice a single Easter art. Xie was legit. Not all schools are like this.
This is the real face of modern kung fu of shaolin
Isn't Shaolin about something more than pointless competition ? Just asking.
Xie is incredible, I agree.
Agasa next round is Rengoku get ready🎉😂 let make a donut 🍩
4:20 “Palm heel strike”, that was a slap
The american announcer sounds like he is doing everything in his power to sound exactly like Rogan.
0:19 This part is where I knew I was watching a master.
Xie is disrespectful!!! Bro just straight up slap the dude😂
If you sit in centre Ring, it's all about power!
And usually your techniques are head basher, you go One Two .. and try your best right punch on the opposition left head
Such a cool fight to watch
14:04 😂😂😂
Man… he sure is using a lot of wrestling(takedown defense, cage work) and must thai striking principles
Shhh people don't like it when you point that he isn't really using Shaolin kung fu in the cage and that he has trained in more than kung fu 😅
Relentless
Agasa would have gotten decimated by Buakaw if he tried clinching like that. the knees to the rib cage he delivers are so powerful you don't want to clinch.
Xie se acaba de ganar un fan
ONE Championship needs their own game.
That monk is definetly the cool bad boy that got exiled from the sect, and all the little kids there look up to him😂
I very much doubt that he's a monk, probably just trained at Shaolin or an affiliated school. One in tens of thousands.. they even train foreigners at these same Shaolin schools.. Real Shaolin monks don't have any ambition to be famous/rich/materialistic or to fight in MMA/pro fighting or even fighting in general..
They do the opposite actually and avoid fighting unless they need it for self defense and there's no other option like to run away.. Hurting others for fame/money is the complete opposite of Chinese or Shaolin philosophy and what monks believe and teach.
Shaolin itself would not support such actions and no current Shaolin monk would be allowed to or even want to fight professionally even if they were allowed since it goes against all their teachings and philosophy.
He isn't a Shaolin monk, he is Shaolin trained. There is q huge difference.
Placing his hand over his opponents mouth while he's exhausted is a speedy way to keep them from catching they're breath while breathing so heavy. Lack of oxygen limits fighters movements and will make them react in ways of getting air rather then focusing on the fight and is in no way against any rules being that chokes are 80% of mma.
is it me? or did the first two minutes of that seem like me and a bully in middle school?
Xie has pretty good striking game. He would be deadly if he added some ground technuque
At 20:40 it’s shao-lin pressure point masterclass!… you can clearly hear the power in this little move from the breath control in it..🤓😮💨
It’s lights out there 4 a sec…😵😵💫🤤
Nice observation 😊
Very interesting
I bet there's people in the comments who think Shaolin monks come from Shaolun 😂
Didn't know, that Van Darkholme trained in shaolin
Shaolin is excellent in movement, speed and balance. Supplemented with strength and stamina, it would be a formidable force.
Krillin God
Monk is pretty good.
Xia is crazy wow
Let see xie :? how to fight with Rodang😌😌
I have essentially no MMA knowledge, can someone help me understand what was going on around 14:00? When Xie let go of Kim why did Kim remain on the ground instead of getting back up? When the 40 seconds ran out it seemed that he was perfectly capable of standing back up but he chose not to
Xie used a so-called Shaolin shadow technique on him, his opponent didn't realize what was happening to him - but basically he couldn't get up. Thing is that when they do that to you your brain still thinks that everything is fine, and that you are deliberately choosing to stay down, but in reality you are temporarily partly disabled. It won't have any lasting consequences, but the monks - who are the only ones who knows ho to perform it - won't be actively attacking someone for the duration as it goes against their training. You can see how he's just range checking until he suddenly explodes on him as soon as the effect ends.
Just trying to bait him into a grappling match on the ground, where he is technically superior? Xie wasn’t biting though. 😂
Smart way to catch your breath too if you’re a bit overwhelmed in the standing exchanges.
The first grappling guy is a joke and COA is a monster.
But
11:23
That Korean guy is no joke either.
Notice that, despite being Shaolin, there was none of those fancy moves here. The exercises are fine, but the technique doesn't work in an actual fight.
Bingo
His cardio reminds me of Frankie Edgar.
Hi,
Noticed you had an Eric Cartman the monster ai cover uploaded but not anymore, why? Is there any chance you could send me it as I loved it
Where are all the , kungfu doesnt work comments
He isn't using kung fu though. If he were, he wouldn't be successful in MMA. He is using the balance and conditioning all that training afforded him, but utilizing pretty standard kickboxing for his actual fighting.
Mma is kung fu. Its all kung fu. They are all using kung fu
Agasa looks really scared he should quit😂😂😂
Black homie know he couldn't stand with him without grappling the whole time
Imagine if u can strike to the back of the head!
Show me the KUNGFU PANDA style 🐼
Shaolin kungfu is difficult to master. Once mastered, it is more difficult to defeat.
If i'm honest this is where I prefer boxing. Fights that are just constant clenches and takedowns are so uninteresting.
That monk could probably take 3x more physical punishment than the average.
He was just KO'd...
Then he isn't really a monk. I have seen videos with these dudes taking kicks to their gonads and not even flinching.
@@JACK.DEATH-SarielI've seen the same videos. That's for mediation, self-discipline, and showmanship (entertainment). It doesn't mean much in real combat situations against real trained fighers in MMA
He isn't a monk, he is Shaolin trained. There is a huge difference
