My 5 year olds diagnosis of ADHD was very similar. I had to fill out a form and so did his teacher and then he was giving a score based on our answers.

Hi Rhi amazing vlog so valuable x wasn't able to catch this live so catching up. My daughter's ADHD assesment (England) was done through school and they filled a questionnaire screening sheet and sent it off then our pediatrician confirmed the ADHD. (Already diagnosed ASD) Totally agree asd is much more in depth with evidence etc. x

With ADHD, 4 kids, a house and a business - you are doing AMAZING! How?? 😅 I’m pretty sure I have ADHD and I can’t wait to ask this until the video ends because I will forget - do you see ADHD traits in any of your children? I read that it is highly likely to inherit it from a parent. And did you try medication? If yes, has it helped and how? Sorry if you’ve already answered, I feel like you probably have 😅🙈
Oh, will you put this on the podcasts? I find it so much easier to listen when I do house work or walk the dog 🤣 - see, very ADHD.

Long story short, I'v been trying to "hack" Mum life and get a grip on it for years and it turns out I've been trying to hack ADHD all along so I have a lot in place. I'll do a video explaining my ADHD hacks I think. And great idea about putting it on the podcast xx

I loved the baby routine days, I only had them to think about and I used them to hide behind in a way. But at 45, with teenage kids, elderly parents and rapidly falling oestrogen levels, it’s a whole new level of stress!
That is what de masked me, I couldn’t hide it anymore. The constant listening to the same songs on a loop for 2 years, the conversation planning in my head, the analysis of all my social interactions, the want of friends, but not putting in the effort to maintain them, the floordrobe etc etc. I’m pushing on through, but I feel like one more stressor, like if I get seriously ill, would break me to the point of no return.

My gp used the words “you’re not jumping up and down or banging your head on a wall … you don’t have adhd” …. Sooo I saw a female gp for a second opinion, she referred me there and then. I’ve since had an initial appointment with the clinic and they have put me on the waiting list for a proper assessment. Seems the first gp had a very outdated view 🙄

Yes the adhd was really different assessment than autism. I wonder if the difference is because autism is such a large spectrum? I don’t know, but we just added it on the end of the autism chat. The autism history took more than an hour to take and the adhd one 20 minutes. Maybe that’s because they had info for my child from the autism diagnosis
