My Lord, how young they look. The young men today do not hold a candle to that generation. Vietnam Vets, WW2 Vets, thank you. Damn thats dark. Play that song and watch this offical bombing clip from the air strike missions --> czcams.com/video/hks39OeJYAs/video.html
Phenomenal song! I was homeschooled and what they teach in textbooks about war is pathetically little. My Papa took over the history lessons. It was phenomenal. Stuff they’d never teach anywhere. As I grew older he told us more and more yet I know it’a a fraction of what he survived. It breaks my heart that those boys..men…were treated so terribly upon their return. I’m so proud to be the daughter and niece of 2 Marines, and the niece of both an Army MP and Navy SEAL who all served in Vietnam.
I'm the nephew of a Forward Observer Corps scout and the son of a Hawaii trained M60 door gunner, will a CIB. My other uncle was a cook trained in Germany who forgot he'd earned a Bronze Star until he applied to the VA for PTSD benefits. Fortunately none of them faced the shameful treatment some other vets did when they got back to the World.
For those wondering if it wasn't obvious already, this song is talking about how a lot of teens were drafted to Vietnam without volunteering but rich/politician families' kids didn't have to.
@@pancho_8827 Not every Vietnamese person is a fucking VC. My uncle fought in that war, he was a paratrooper, rank: Captain. He fought for the South, against the communists and with the Americans. Keep that in mind, eh? I am Vietnamese but am born in the U.S. and will join the military one day, just remember not every Viet person is a commie s.o.b.
Exactly as planned. Get the poor & working class kids to kill each other. That's the real reason for war. Don't be fooled. The "elite ruling class" collaborate regardless of borders. Same as Democrats & Republicans in the US. They work together while keeping the public divided & fighting each other. The wrong ppl have power in this world. But we give them that power. Wish ppl would wake up & stop falling for their shit
Wouldn’t really say it’s against war, it’s more about how some people can avoid the draft because they are rich, while the lower classes had no choice.
I wasn’t drafted, I volunteered as a teenager - I strongly believed that I had a duty and I needed to support what others were doing. I have, as a double VN vet, a great respect for my brothers in arms.
just wondering: so would you show respect to the north Vietnam vets that survived? because after all they fought for the same reason you did just against you
I wish you all bright skies. I remember one moment when I was in school, about the eighth grade, we had a meeting with Afghan veterans, there were three of them, one of them was emotionally sad, he began his word with a minute of silence and let out drops of spleen, I never want to remember those events. My Lord, how young they look. The young men today do not hold a candle to that generation. Vietnam Vets, WW2 Vets, thank you. No matter if Vietnam was a just war or not the guilt lies on the heads of those in power. To the men and women who have gone to war from our great country again I say thank you from heart.

Good Morning, Malevelon Creek!
Phenomenal song!
I was homeschooled and what they teach in textbooks about war is pathetically little. My Papa took over the history lessons. It was phenomenal. Stuff they’d never teach anywhere.
As I grew older he told us
more and more yet I know it’a a fraction of what he survived.
It breaks my heart that those boys..men…were treated so terribly upon their return.
I’m so proud to be the daughter and niece of 2 Marines, and the niece of
both an Army MP and Navy SEAL who all served in Vietnam.

Switch Rich with Politician and you are golden
Like Afghanistan minus the drafting bit. Only poor kids went to fight there.

A rich mans war, and a poor mans fight...

As usual.
But in communism every one is poor I mean rich

Wouldn’t really say it’s against war, it’s more about how some people can avoid the draft because they are rich, while the lower classes had no choice.

just wondering: so would you show respect to the north Vietnam vets that survived? because after all they fought for the same reason you did just against you

I wish you all bright skies. I remember one moment when I was in school, about the eighth grade, we had a meeting with Afghan veterans, there were three of them, one of them was emotionally sad, he began his word with a minute of silence and let out drops of spleen, I never want to remember those events.
