there's two side of the story.. in EJ Obiena.. he might or could opted to go wesley so's way if no intervention on the issue between him and PaTaFa was resolved
Wesley So main problem was visa issues, u cant just get into the host tournament with a stupid PINOY PASSPORT and at his very young age who would ever believe in him.

EJ Obiena so far is the only bright spot in our quest for prominence in the Asian Games. Hidilyn Diaz, Margie Didal, Nesthy Petecio, Paalam all bombed out. It can only mean one thing i.e. that government support for our athletes are sorely lacking and we have a misdirected direction of our sports development. We pour billions for grassroots development, training, international engagements for basketball, where there is a dim hope of excelling in the Olympics. Resources should be poured in sports which befit the Filipino height, grace, and build. Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam have found the secret to making waves in international competitions. We should do the same. Also, these controversial CIF funds should be transferred to sports development.
