An absolute tour de force. Unbelievable. One of the best versions I’ve ever heard of this piece, on one of the most difficult and awkward instruments you could possibly imagine. Bordering on miraculous.

Bach is truly the greatest teacher, and composer in my opinion. but doing this on a double bass is remarkable.

I had the rare pleasure of watching Joel Quarrington, years ago, in a composition master class of Samuel Dolin. He ripped through the 3rd mvmt of the Beethoven 5th for us. Great fun. This goes back a bit. Great to see him here. Superb player.
