Grog, Scanlan and Craven Edge (and poop) - A Critical Role fan animation (Ep. 45)

- This is my first animation of this kind and size. I just felt like animating something and I wanted to do something with Critical Role.
I also want to mention a great Dungeons and Dragons animator - Puffin Forest - as he was a great inspiration in this endevaur.

A sword of great darkness, corrupting all that wield it. In the hands of one so stupid as to be incorruptible. I almost feel bad for Craven Edge.
I forgot how much I love Grog's genuine kindness to everything until I watched this. That moment of "Do you have feelings... and did that hurt them?" was SO SWEET and Grog is usually seen as a bumbling, horny idiot, but he's a caring guardian, too.
If this scene isn't portrayed in "The Legend of Vox Machina" series, it will be a missed opportunity. :) Thanks for animating this scene.

A teaser just dropped of Grog's nightmare of killing Vox Machina with Craven Edge and Kevdak being proud of him.
A good number of comments are about how Grog needs a conversation with his weapon. Somewhere private. Like an outhouse.

the bit where the frame shakes made me giggle, this is quite good overall though. leaving in the comments of the other players goes a long way

oh man, I remember a story where Lawful good Paladin, found an evil intelligent sword, that feeds off souls, so I filled a bag of holding with poop pee, and rotten flesh and sent it into the astral plane, where he had to smell that forever and never feed on anther soul again, I also broke the blade too, and FILLED the bag of holding with black lotus poison, so no can save him
Can’t wait for more.... the hunger can’t be satiated

Yes, I know. I tried to distance myself from it, but it was hard as it was my first animation of this size. I´ll try to make it more of my own in the future. Thanks for the critique.
Mitchell Kocik No one owns an art style, plenty of people learn by copying and that's fine. Over time it will naturally evolve as all things do. So don't imply he's bad for taking inspiration, even if it's a lot of it.
