This is my favorite Tame Impala song since I've listened it for the first time. I'm so grateful that I could hear it live at Lollapalooza Brazil 2023. I wasn't expecting that song on the setlist. When Kevin said that they would do a song that hasn't been played for a while and that some people might be happy to hear it, I started to get hyped and repeating to me and my friends "Is it Alter Ego????!!!!".
When the synth and guitar started... It's is hard to find words to describe... I, definitely, was one of those who got happy for hearing it. I felt that embrace in an unique way. It was the purest emotion, one of the best moments in my life.

This music reminds me of being 18 years old and being new to Austin Texas back in 99! It was everything about the nostalgic feeling of being free and loving life!! No strings or worries ! Discovering the whole world coming from a small town. Those were the days when Austin was weird, original and very authentic! Great memories!
