I totally agree. The older generation such as parents say we can tell them anything but in reality, if we do they're so judgemental about it or pass it off as "teenage hormones", such as my mum did when I said I think I have depression three years ago. She still passes it off and the fact that this happens to so many people is stupidly scary, and it's issues and situations like this that lead to other problems like suicide and anxiety.
This dude is so amazing and I can relate to his songs so much. He's a proper voice for our generations.

After this interview I love Dom even more. He’s just such a sweet and wonderful human being. When I listen to his music I don’t feel alone. He makes me feel welcome and tell that’s it’s okay to be different. And that’s so important for me. Like even though I don’t know him he’s such a important person in my life. Dom is the reason that so many people are comfortable with who they are and who they are becoming and it's so horrible to see that narcissistic people are taking the thumbnail the wrong way. he never said that old people have robbed us of our generation but we as young people are not having our voice heard. we are such an inteligent generation of people but we are pushed aside because we aren't supposed to know as much as we do. seeing people mentally deprave people because they're different is so horrible and it makes me so angry that people have the nerve and the audacity to sit there behind a screen and say that they are wrong. a face to face confrontation would make people actually have a chance to be heard. this is only to start a conversation. NOT to be evil to the older people
To be honest I wouldn’t call ourselves a smart generation, people just do and repeat why they get from the internet without corroborating it, that’s why some people laugh at lefties calling them “npcs” (Non player characters in video games that basically just follow certain dialogues they’re programmed with) and conservatives are also really close minded with some of their ideologies. Look for videos on the internet about people asking if they recognize important people from history, recognizing countries, or the debates made by Steve Crowder and see how a LOT of people have no idea what they’re talking. The fact that we’re living in the era of the information doesn’t mean we’re being informed properly and one of the reasons is because people are not taught to be objective and critical.

he's barely two years older than i am but yet he's such a role model. i love how he's so open minded and open about his opinion and i really think that people can learn something from him if they'd just listen to him. i really relate to most of the things he said and that's the point. he speaks out the truth and what most people our age feel like and what we think and for us that's very important. i honestly can't believe that the comments are so negative.

As an American..I have never heard of this guy before..but I'm glad I did. He gives me hope that the newer generation will make a better world full of love, compassion and empathy. But I also know for every guy like him..there are a thousand more that want to kill his voice. Please stay strong sir..for in your eyes and your voice I see a better tomorrow.
When he talks about his experiences of feeling like a freak and not being able to talk about it resonates with me. I was born with feminine characteristics so I was classified as a girl at birth, but growing up I didn't fit into any boxes that were under those subjects. I went through a time thinking I was a transgender man because I enjoyed all aspects to do with things that only people categorized as men can do, but then other days I wanted to wear a dress or be 'feminine'. It was only when I found gender fluidity in my teens that I finally felt like myself. I don't like to put myself into a box because I don't fit into any and I don't want to. For the first time in my life, I finally feel like myself, but I felt like I was alone, until I discovered Yungblud and saw all his interviews and songs and became a mega-fan and he became a role model for me that I don't have to be ashamed for just being myself, whoever that is.
