She is amazing. Love her message, energy, and her passion. What a beautiful voice to match such a beautiful written song. Wow.. she should be so much more famous and popular.
I've been hooked on SOS since 1989 when I was working as a contractor in Florida City, Fl. Twilight World (Superb, Superb Mix) was playing on a Miami radio Jazz station and I said to myself "Who is this blasting" like no body's business? Rushed out and bought their first album "It's Better to Travel" with their noted hit "Breakout". SOS is amazing!!!
I loss my husband almost a year ago.We heard this song playing in the store while we were shopping one day, we had to find out who it was singing. Funny thing l loss the song name in my phone. Today l went back to the same store the song was playing. l got it again thank God It was meant to be .l won’t forget it again. Thank you my Angel in the sky RIP my love.🙏💜🙏✝️🌹.
This group is so amazing because all of their work is upbeat, uplifting, and positive. Good lyrics, good tunes, and just plain fun. It harks back 30, 40, 50 years ago. Such talent you don't see very often any more - and so much fun to listen to and watch their videos.
Love the song and the positive meaning behind it. Corrine is saying you might have good days and bad days but cheer up somewhere in the world someone's thinking of you. You matter xx.
I heard this song last night at the grocery store and tried searching this title: somewhere in the world. Found this video in 10 seconds. Sounds happy! 😻💐💯
I was shopping in Burlington this weekend and this song was playing over the speakers all I was able to make out was "Somewhere in the world" I look at 5 different songs and finally found it I'm a 15 year old black girl and I LOVE these types of songs ...not today's music! this is soooo beautiful I love it!! :D
Amazing quality of old school music even further proven to be soul, R&B, old schoo jazz infused with her superb covers of the Delfonics "Lala means I love you" and Barbara Acklins "am I the Same Girl".
There needs to be no arguments,it's a great song whenever to came out.It was just an opinion on the sound/feeling of this and most of their other songs.
This song often makes me cry - the lyrics equally with the vocal, just beautiful. So glad they're still making records after all these years too! #2 only to The Carpenters for me - Karen and Richard, Corrinne and Andy, yeah!
In 1986 is when I first fell in love with Corrine with SWINGOUT SISTER’s debut: It’s better to travel! Big fan ever since she mesmerizes me with her beautiful vocals and knock out looks! ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😘😘😘💋💋💋🥰🥰🥰 By the time: Am I The Same Girl came out In 1992 I had just graduated college with my bachelors degree and moved to California to start my masters degree at UCLA…time flies!

Jason Potter and yet only in 2018 I find out the name of this. Today. Right now. Been hearing it in coffee shops for years and had the hook wrong, hence I couldn't find it. I was 17 in 1997 lol
Their sound here is just so reminiscent of that mid 60's-early 70's "Northern Soul." So many of their songs would fit right in with a compilation of Carolina Beach Music.
I can see I'm not alone thinking this is the most beautiful Swing Out Sister song. Corinne drewery is gorgeous to look at and to listen to. her old-school Soulful sound and appeal is rare in songs that came out after the seventies
@@GBS1043 I know when the song came out my point was that it sounds like the old school quality of the 70s and very few groups after that Tara have been able to accomplish that Swing Out Sister being one of them and that's what makes it so special that it is after the seventies and I know it's in the 90s
This song brings back a lot of memories. I bought this CD back in 1997;I was in the service, traveled to 3 different continents, and got to live in Brazil for a while. Good times. I spin this on my Ipod at least twice a week.
This song is so soothing like an ointment, like a breath of fresh air,I absolutely love this song 💝 it's very mellow like a sip of Ocean Spray Crangrape juice, Breakout is also one of my favorite songs 🎵🎶🎼

This band really knew how to produce classy pop rock music...absolutely not outdated ;-)
