I have 373 and 574.. The 373 is by far the most comfortable sneaker I have experienced in my entire life(33yr)and they are great summer snekaers cause they are light, thin and breathable..574 feel higher quality, tougher and also warmer..574 are just average comfortable sneaker but much warmer so they are good for spring and autumn..none are good for true winter tho, unless youre always indoor

couldn't agree less with you on 373 comfort..I got 15-20 sneakers at home and I wear none of them since I bought 373..I guess comfort is very subjective

Thank you for the review, while I find the opinion on the upper somewhat adequte, although comparing mesh to suede is not fair since they are for different applications, the massive amounts of cushioning is not always great. 574 and 996 will have an increase stack height and heel-to-toe drop which makes them uncomfortable for people looking for a less intrusive shoe in that sense. After trying all of them I chose the 373 for lighter weight, lower stack height that doesn't force you forward in a rocking motion (and lets you stand without overcompensating in your posture) and less of a heel that makes me feel more stable. Also there is more space in the toebox because of less of material and they're generally more flexible.
These massive amounts of cushioning are also not too good for your tendons and muscles, although they do lower the impact if you're a heel-striker, which is wrong anyway...

I had those, I put my old Skechers insole in it and that’s how I wore it. Love the style, but only for the look.

This is such a great watch!
I've been on the search for great or steal deals over the past 2 weeks for some models that I really wanted to cop and I learned that these three are not just the ones sharing similar silhouettes.
I'm relatively new to NBs so for over the 2 weeks that I've spent, I have observed other silhouettes that are "similar" to these 3 such as the 500, 576, 577, 578, 730, 990v1, and 1300.
I can see both subtle and major differences across all the silhouettes but as you've said, to the untrained eyes, they can absolutely look the same.

I was thinking of getting new shoe's but i didn't know which ones, i watch Initial D and characters have New Balance which made me want some, i wanted 574 but they're weren't any my size so i had to choose the 373, is not bad when i tried them and it fits with my Cargo pants really well, for 320 RON, what a bargain.

I'm also initial D fan, I had 574 for a year but they are now damaged by using. I just bought 373 now and i can say they are more flexibile and lighier than 574, so they are more comfortable for driving a car, because you have better feeling in feet when pressing clutch or gas. I wonder how long they last.

I have both 373 and 574 and I think this ones are the best value overall if you get a good discount.
373 are lighter but less comfortable.
The best thing of these sneakers is the great variety of colours and they look good.

    Is the 373 wider ?
547 is narrow and tight on toes
996 narrow sole butttt it’s good for my wide feet none of them 3 are as good as the 1906 or 2002 for wide feet

Does the number automatically correlates to a better shoe? Because I just bought the 237V1 and they appear great in terms of sole. I've had plenty of New Balance shoes in the past and the 574 is basically standard and will make everyone happy. The 373 is narrow and feels cheaper that's true. The best one I ever had was a Made in England one and it literally felt like walking on pillows. Too bad they ended up a bit too short...

I’m I the only one who tried the 547 and they were tight in my toes but the 996 fit better !
996- narrow bottom sole but the top part is wide enough so it’s like the she on top bigger than the narrow sole
547-it was tight on my feet my toes it’s weird
