Just installed a new radiator in a 2001 Infiniti i30 with 241,000 miles on it. I added a second hose clamp for the transmission lines. Good tip. The car was in bad shape but the motor sounds great - the Japanese make an amazing product. This car / engine could last forever.
Nice work! You're right about Japanese made products for the most part.
This is the ONE good video for this job on this car goin around. thanks heaps man, great video.

This was helpful, thank you, took me about two hours with just basic Sears tools...I suggest that when you pull off the transmission fluid tubes, be ready to just stick a pencil into them as a temporary plug! I found slip joint pliers useful for pulling both tubes and hoses off, lacking your fancy little puller doo-dad!
Where are you located? Love your videos, descriptive and straight to the point!!
@@hardlymovingpro oh okay I live in NJ. Was going to see if your near me that way I could hit you up for auto repairs
No problem. Have relatives there and go up twice a year. Send details to my email for further comm.
@@hardlymovingpro When are you coming to NJ? I need to replace my 99 Max.Radiator Support, Can you do it?
What's the advantage of replacing the old hose clamp on the atf lines? Are they easier to remove?
What is that hose called the you put back on at 9:05?
@@hardlymovingpro I just bought a car that doesn't have one. 2 questions..1 are the ends of that hose different sizes? 2. If that hose is missing can it cause stalling?
So the transmission fluid feeds into radiator? Didn't know that
Yes ... to keep the ATF temperatures down to prevent the oil from degrading.
Superbly done. My daughter is 1,000 miles away and has to do this herself since she can't afford to pay someone to do it. This video makes that possible. Thank you!!!
