- Hi friends! Today I'm reviewing the new Too Faced Pumpkin Spice palette and showing comparisons between it and the Gingerbread Palettes from Too Faced. I also created 5 different looks using almost every shade in the palette so you can get a good idea of what kinds of looks you can create. I don’t understand why everyone is hating on the purples in this palette! I was so excited when I saw all those purples next to those greens and oranges. I’m in love with this color story!

Exactly. Also it comes down to the brightness of purple, if its muted, rich, deep, darker then its perfecrt for fall. If its light and cool it is amazing for spring. Any color can work anytime. Cause colors are not plain one tone.

They should’ve made sure that the purples of all the shades were a great formula.
I just think it’s sad that someone always has to complain out loud. I try to live my life by the saying, “if you can’t say something nice, just don’t say anything at all.” UNLESS, someone directly asks you for your honesty. And even then, you can do it in a constructive way. If I don’t care for something, I just keep scrolling. I’m not claiming I don’t ever complain, of course I do, but when it comes to eyeshadow pallettes, there’s another one (or 5!) being released every day. If you DONT like something....quietly move on. OR, give constructive criticism with positives included just like Jen did in this video!! THIS is what having class looks like! Thank you Jen for pointing out that just because we are transitioning into Fall, doesn’t mean purple is out of place. IMO I honestly can’t believe Jen had to point that out, but I’m glad she did! This pallette is a very sweet, fun, Fall color story. If others don’t agree, they shouldn’t buy it. You know the saying, “can’t please everyone all the time.” Just a simple fact of life. With that being said, being a nice human isn’t difficult. I wish the keyboard warriors would take a page from Jen Phelps book! This world would be a much kinder place for all to live in!
Same here. I didn't buy the others because my skin tone is very cool and they were just too warm, but this one I bought because of the cooler-toned colors.

Sorry but who are the 6 people that thumbed this video down??? This is the best, most concise review on this palette I've seen yet. There's no rambling, no unnecessary information. You showed comparisons AND 5 looks in a 13 min video! It has a great pace and I never got bored, it's fantastic, great job! Other CZcamsrs could learn from you.

I find it odd that people are complaining that color has a season. Color is limitless and knows no bounds. Or it should be anyway. Your first look sold me on this palette. Great swatches too

The purple is why I wanted this palette so much! That, and the greens. This is actually the first fall Too Faced palette release that I wanted 😁

I think this is the best looking Too Face, and I have it ordered from Ulta... Just waiting for delivery. This will be my first Too Face palette.

Oh those purples!! 😍💜 I usually don't gravitate towards Too Faced palettes (I have just a few and they haven't really floored me), but I think these purples will sway me...
Also, *thank you* for beautiful and *simple* eye looks! They look amazing, and I love that it's only 3 colours!! Often I'll watch a video and go "wow! That's so pretty! I want to recreate that!" But after the 10th shade is applied, nah... Too complicated! These look awesome, and I can handle doing 3 shades 😄

I was pleasantly surprised when you opened that palette😍😍😍, I honestly expected it to be a repeat of browns, golds, and neutrals, and you're right about purple being a fall color, most Halloween decorations are orange, purple and black, and all of the other just fall decor has purple in it, you're also right about people complaining about the palette either way, great video Jen, it's a really pretty palette and the looks you created was stunning 💞💞💞.

Jen this is one of my favorite reviews from you ever! I'm sure doing 5 looks is a lot of work, but this format really works well, I would love to see this for every new palette (both comparisons and looks plus a short review). Somehow you packed so much information into a relatively short video and I'm honestly glad you didn't show yourself applying the eyeshadow because I get bored watching people apply it. I just loved seeing the final result and will use some of your color combinations to do my eyes the way I like to do them. Thank you!
I have both of the Gingerbread palettes and love both. I originally wasn’t going to get the extra spicy one last year because online it looked so similar to the original Gingerbread palette but they’re actually very different imo. And my first thoughts on the Pumpkin was it looked a lot like those but again, in person there’s enough of a difference for me that makes it worth it for me. And while there are similar colors in all 3 I feel like since they’re meant to be “Fall palettes” it kind of makes sense for some to be similar. I think all 3 will compliment one another beautifully!

I agree! I love the purples and the greens in here. the first thought I had about people complaining about those colors is that they would complain about 18 different shades of orange as well, and we have more than enough warm palettes saturating the market. bring on the cools! it's time.
I love how you show how you combine different color combinations in a palette. I tend to gravitate to the same colors and not use any other colors in a palette. Please do more of these different looks with one palette. You do them so well :)
I think the way you switched out the color story for each look was very helpful.
I usually only wear purple in the Fall/Winter months. Paler purples in the summer. Thanks for the comparison.
Thank you for defending the purple in the palette!! I love the purple combination in this palette, I think its totally fall appropriate, where as the other gingerbread palettes are more Christmas appropriate because of the red-green combinations.

I just picked this up today as my 4th Too Faced palette I’ve purchased in a months time. Can’t wait to play with it. LOVE the formula of their shadows.
In 2018 and 2019, Too Faced had Pumpkin Spice palette but they were in the cardboard packaging and I loved those

I wasn't drawn to the gingerbread palettes but this one called my name! I picked it up at ulta and was able to use a coupon and points, so it was worth it.

The purple makes it unique and separate from all of the other pure orange shades in other palettes this time of year. The colour variation is what makes me want this palette as badly as I do, because I can see myself using this a lot.

I love all of your eye looks. You mixed colours that I would normally never mix because I would be afraid of making a mess of it but you pulled it all together beautifully & I'm not so worried about playing with the colours now. I can't wait for my pallet to arrive
You really brought some gorgeous looks out of the palette. I love purple in fall. It contrasts with orange. I actually have 2 bowls of deep dark purple silk roses and a purple burgundy and rust throw that I pull out for fall decor. This looks lovely Jen.

I am from New Jersey. I see a lot of purple all around in the fall. All those colors in this palette remind me of fall.

Very nice looks, all beautiful, I am partial to the purples and mauves since a have cool undertones on my skin but I do like them all, well done.
Love all of the looks you created, especially the 1st, 2nd, and 5th one. My favorite color is purple right now so I like the purples in the palette. I probably won't pick up this palette because I have more make-up than I need, but it is a beautiful palette.
