    I'm so glad that you gave all the information regarding this plant. I had it and I killed it due to overwatering and wrong soil / potting mix. I was also not aware of the name of this plant and couldn't search its details in CZcams. Thank you so much for this valuable information.

      Thank you for this informative video. I was searching about the potting medium of this plant. I followed the video of your ground orchid and my orchids are doing better. Thank you.

    Thank you for this video, I think this explained why my Dischidia is unhappy! It has had a too uneven watering regime and the pot, maybe soil as well, are not breathing enough. The current soil looks like very decomposed coco peat, possibly mixed with regular growing peat. Do you think porous tree bark (in my case scots pine, it is a bit like very lightweight drywall pieces, or very much like Eucalyptus robusta bark but slightly less penetrable) could be used as a substitute for coco bark?

      I think u can avoid coco bark. A week draining mix of sand 30 pc compost 40 pc and 30 pc regular potting mix would work. Watering and sunlight makes most of the diff. Spider mites got mine unfortunately 😕 😒

    Help 😢😢😢 three of mine died, even though I never gave them very much water the roots always die off. Then I try to propagate the arms but they never take or grow roots. I don’t know how to save the last plant. Any tips?

    • @Urbanscapegardening
      @Urbanscapegardening  Před 2 měsíci +1

      U have to water them completely before they dry out and then sunlight is important south west is ideal. Propagation must be done in a balcony or outdoor setting.

      @@Urbanscapegardening Thankyou very much for your reply!
      Do you think propagation outside would also work in a place like Germany? At the moment its raining a lot and its 17 degrees unfortunately :( 😢

      @MAKEDAofficial a green house 🏠 area would do not otherwise. Use grow lights indoors if need be
