Everly Brothers International Archive : Nashville Now, Spring 1986

In the Spring of 1986 Don Everly guested on Ralph Emery's Nashville Now show with some help from Phil who joined them by phone because he had just been operated on his knee (a track injury from his high school days).
At the end of the show they make a promise to visit this program together in the near future and perform some songs (which they did in 1988; check out our channel for that particular clip)

Wir waren schon froh, dass wir uns ein paar abfotografierte Fotos heimlich besorgen konnten .
Wir durften sie nicht haben und uns auf keinem Fall erwischen lassen.

Don was estranged from his mother at this stage for some time I believe, not sure if Phil was it was from some family disagreement after their father died in 1975. I don’t think they ever reconciled sadly. Mom everly lived on to the grand age of 102 died in 2021 she outlived her sons.I hope they are at peace now and everly brothers were the best ever at their game,love them
