Yes for structure and for making everything absolutely clear and stating the obvious! The main thing students say to me about their exam results "but that's what I meant" - well, if you don't write it down it won't give you any points.

Hey Vee I’ve been curious about how many stages you go through to write down and condense your notes and how you pick up stuff before the exam for revising in the most efficient way during less time and if you have any techniques that you use like you said mind maps are very helpful so you have an idea of the content and topics...
Came from 6 hour 4 hour essay crisis videos. Love them. Going to use these tips for this sem.

Speaking of reading out loud, at least on Macs there's a Speech-function if you highlight and double click, it's second to last . I usually highlight a section, listen, then another etc etc and there's almost always something to correct or improve :)

Her Tips, in Writing:
1. Know the criteria
2. Check its timing, plan each stage as best you can and move on so you can keep on track and not hand things in incomplete. Like plan how much time you’re gonna write your brainstorm, intro, bodies, and conclusion
3. CHOOSE the topic you know most about and are hapoy to write about. STICK TO WHAT YOU KNOW IN THE EXAM.
4. MAKE MIND MAPS/Essay Plan before you bein your essay. Try to keep it to at least 5 minutes.
5. Points shouod flow, and should go back to the question.
6. PLAN that introduction, anf be very obvious so that nobody can be confused as to what you essay is argueing.
6. STATE THE OBVIOUS, then build up with evidence
7. Reread it if you have the time.

Broo, you know what I was the same. Well I’ve just my a levels and the pomodoro technique helped so much! Search pomodoro timer and the first one that comes up is the good one. Basically, after 25-30mins your conc drops, so you’re gonna learn less well. So take a 5 min break and you then learn better afterwards.

Hi everyone! What should I do when the professor wants an essay on anything. Like anything you want from the subject. 🤡 HELP
Hi Juliana, I have two suggestions - * Skim the topics covered on the subject and choose a topic that you think you have quite a good amount of understanding and can explain it to people not just on surface level but more than that
* Otherwise go though what your teacher covered in the class lectures and what topic or what arguments she gave made you really think about it or made you interested upon it.
Hope this helps you to narrow down a lil bit
