They have been cutting down so many trees there though and the traffic makes things so hectic. People drive very fast down just the streets and run over pets and kids.

It's not what it used to be. My family moved here back in 1991 and I've been here ever since. The population has more than doubled in just the past few years alone. There are only two lanes in and out of the neighborhood. Unless you have a permanent and secure work from home gig, I wouldn't recommend living this far away from everything. I'm grateful for the time this neighborhood has given me, but they've been destroying a considerable amount of our greenery to build houses for carpetbaggers. Increasing crime is also slowly but surely becoming another new problem that we have to deal with.

When I lived in Houston & worked for DirecTv as a technician I was on a job for nearly 5 hours, til like 1:30 am 😂. I had to do an install in an apartment and man getting that job to work and figuring things out was rough. It was an apt so I didn't wanna do a lot of drilling. I had to wire 4 rooms and ran lines on top of the drop ceilings. It was a crazy job. The Superbowl was the next day and the peoples kids wanted to see it, that's why I wanted to get it done for them. I had to drive to Jamaica beach down towards Galveston to get equipment from another tech. That drive took nearly 2 hrs. It's was so crazy lol. Good experience tho.

Notice how Lake Houston is a great place to go boating and fishing but no word of swimming? It's because of the aligators. We used to hang out at the "boat docks" ( 3:08 ) as kids and at night you could see their eyes reflecting the light when they swam in the lake. Also poisonous snakes in the water, I think they were called watermocassines. Kingwood is awesome though, wouldn't want to miss a day of my youth there.
