"Hello fellow modelers." - This is your signature and you should trademark it!!!! My 2 year old son asks to watch your videos every morning and loves it when you say that! We love your channel!
Excellent video as usual, David! You made me laugh when you called yourself lazy for buying the Mr Color RLM 02 paint, no lazy man puts the detail into models that you do! I'm amazed at how steady your hands are with the Proxxon grinder, I would have slipped and destroyed the part I was trying to modify. Always learn so much from your content, Thank you!
Lost for words......truly a genius.....
What a pleasure to see those very high level details when it's finished. Simply wordless!
@11:01 "I'm quite lazy..." David, 171,000+ people know you are not telling the truth! It's a pleasure to watch you work. Thanks!
The big question: will you ever be pleased with a kit and have no modifications to make? I hope not, it makes every model and every video unique and interresting
I made a few models without no modification but mostly AFV. You always have something to improve at planes.
@@idaemonplasmo i love your modifications, it gives your models more details, and for me more personality, kind of like a fingerprint.
This is just my opinion, but I think its entirely possible to be pleased with a kit and still make modifications; even the most well cast and detailed kit can use some personal touches, such as drilling out gun barrels and/or exhaust pipes, replacing small parts (which tend to look rather flat and plain on even a lot of the "higher end" kits) with scratch-made parts, etc. Just my two cents though; I'm totally in agreement that watching him transform these kits is always great.
Thanks for the bonus vid. Your attention to detail and patience are excellent. This will help with my future 219 and many other builds. Always a treat and a pleasure to watch you work your magic
Your such an artist in what you presenting us. Your work, your detailing, your patience and of course your wonderful music choice is just calming down. Keep on what you love to do.
At the end of the day, you have a great talent for turning a plain jane model into a masterpiece!
You make it look easy, even though I know it’s not, but you certainly make it look that way! Great job man!
WOW...!!!! one of the most incredible detailing I've ever seen, and I've seen all of your builds.
Thanks for that, very informative on how you detailed the gear.
you are clearly the best modeler on youtube
I love your videos!!! I'm a newcomer when it comes to building models and I've learned so much from watching you work! Thanks and keep building amazing models.
Awesome David. And also inspiring. Thank you for sharing your technique with us.
thanks a lot for the detailed video about this landing gear, keep bringing them to us! cheers
lovely model and an interesting informative video. Big thumbs up from me. I am always amazed what motivates people to thumbs down, I simply cannot see why anyone would thumbs down other than spite.
thanks. my 219 is still in the box, but you make it look fun to build, even though it is a tamiya kit!
I like watching you work. It is inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
For me you are one of the best modelers! respect
I wish I had one-tenth of your skills. Your builds are a joy to watch.
Beautifully done...
Thank you for video!
You rise your skill on model to model.
Wonderfull.
Excellent build and videos as always!
Fantastic work. The plane has so much more realism. Great little video.👍
Du bist absolut verrückt!! Das meine ich positiv!!!! So etwas habe ich noch nicht gesehen!!! LG Peter :-)
Outstanding build and great tips, thanks for sharing
Love the effort and research you put into your builds!
Fantastic video, keep them coming.
Need a step by step one again like me262 or bf109!
Thank you David 👍🏼
Thanks so much David
Awesome build my friend keep up the good work 👍
Excellent video as usual. Very well done and very instructive. thanks a lot
Nicely done!
an amazing video thank you, David!
impressive use of a bit of plastic here and there and a large amount of talent and -Ta-Ta! landing gear - Great job of painting too.
Excellent stuff. As always.
Wonderful. One of my favorites. There is one on display at the Smithsonian Hazy center in Reston VA but its not dusty or worn, It looks factory new/ restored. I'm not certain if they have fully assembled it yet. Last I saw the wings and nacelles were on stands. A shame for such a nice example of a unique aircraft.
The Mozart of modelling.
Awesome work!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍✌
Excellent video really enjoyed watching and learning. Thank you
PLASMO POWER👍
You are the Master, Martin!!! Great music, by the way.
I like you homemade parts, very instructive.
awsome work !!
Absolutely amazing artwork as always mate..
Another great video David.👌🏻😎
A solderingiron so close to the plastic scares the hell out of me but you did a briljant job as always...keep up the good work David👍
Thanks David very helpful .
Really nice job. Goes to show, it really helps to have good and accurate reference photos. For so long I wondered why every time my dad took me to the air shows he was always "crawling around under the aircraft taking photos. Now I find myself doing exactly the same thing
And now I know why he always did that. Reference photos of some details just aren't published so I f you photograph the aircraft your self, you can get the shots you want. Of course now days you can just google it, but still you might find there are some details that exist but you just can't find reference online for.
Beautiful!!
Looks great! You've certainly done your research to get such good results :)
Great tutorial...very helpful. Thanks.
David, I’m new to your channel and it is great! I remember being a young boy building models. Every one I would buy, I would always say that I am going to make this one look just like the picture on the box. This never happened! However, watching your videos reminds me of the fun I had building models, thanks so much!!
I will enjoy watching your library of videos and I will look forward to your future videos...You truly are a Master of
Your Craft!!!
Amazing skill
Great work
Realy good video!

Thanks for showing dreams.
A great job
Hi David I've subbed to your friend for a while ! He's very talented. Another fantastic , very enjoyable build. Well done my friend
Fantastic👌
Wery perfect work!!! Welcome from Hungary!
David my man please build a gunpla. I really want to see how you would build one and what techniques you would use.
The Hazy center outside "Washingtoon" has an outstanding fuselage fully restored ion display. It's been years since I had visited and dont know if they finished the wings yet. A stunner.
Eres un genio!!!
Great video David. I just went and subscribed to your friends channel as well. Thank you for sharing.
Look what you made me do now ,I want to build my eduard heinkel 111 !!!!
you are the best!!
Fascinating
Great work ;)
Excellent video, with it you have achieved that I resume a project forgotten for several years, my Tamiya He 219 in 1/48, Thank you very much. When will you put more videos of the construction of Tamiya's He 219 in 1/48?
Lindo trabalho.
well done
Very nice 👍🏼 from France
Did you said, lazy?
Yeah, right! :))))
Awesome as usual!
Těším se na Vaše parádní videa !!.. Vždy se moc rád podívám a hlavně výborná inspirace i pro moje modelaření.. Posílám velké dík :-)
Very perfect
I love your channel
посмеялся с субтитров!!!! веселые... "использовал звериный эффект грязи из пещеры"))))
I was completely amazed by the work and detail he put in the landing gear only to find out at 9:57 that he had to do it twice! Crazy!!
You should put out such videos whenever you do such modifications ;]
I mostly try show all in the main video, but this part was a little bit longer than I expected.
Thanks, man!
Could you do a video of the RQ-9 Reaper? It looks like a boring model but I think you could make it very interesting. Love your videos!
Thank you for all your videos. They made me return to model kits after almost 20-years of dark age (as the AFOLs say). Are you planning on showcasing your kits on E-Day this friday? I'd love to see them with my own eyes!
Thanks. I will be there but without models.
Thank you for sharing....! I'll tale a look at the site you sugestões. ;)
Looks amazing great work. can you tell me what camera do you use?..
Top, like always 👍
Hi David,
Whats your thinning ratio for mr surfacer?Awesome build my man 👊👊👊👊
Great done. Your channel should has name not "idaemon" but rather "igenius" ;) And thanks for reference of that second channel. Seems to be interesting. ;) All the best for you!
How long do your models usually take, and where do you find the time to do all this?
Is model building your profession or just a hobby? Your work is spectacular
Thanks for another great technique ! ! ! BTW, have you or anyone you know ever figured out a way to model rotating propellers ? ? ?
Joe Serdynski Not difficult with small electro motor in larger models, main issue why it’s almost never done is that it is very hard to build in an interchangeable battery and if you hide the battery in the rear of the model it upsets the balance on planes with nosewheel too much. Also it generally doesn’t look real or convincing enough imho.
Thanks, but was going for "modeling" rotating propellers, something that will be difficult, but would expect Mr. Damek and/or others to have some good ideas . . .
Check out www.propblur.com/about-propblurs.html
is tin soldering wire a good substitute for lead wire?
Bonus video is an xcellent idea! As always, you take something that is very difficult and make it look easy! When smoothing plastic with liquid glue, do you just brush it on and leave it or do you sand it after drying?
It depends on a final result. Sometimes it is not necessary to sand it.
which airbrush/compressor do you use?? fantastic job!!!
David, what brand and size of tweezers to you use in this video. They seem like the perfect type/size. thanks..
What do you use to seal the paint in so ju can use enamel washes ect?
