- The Handyguys take a look at selecting a Ceiling fan and review typical parts of any fan. It is helpful to understand all the parts to a fan before you make your purchase. There are various controllers, down rods, motors and blades to consider in addition to the light kits that you can attach.

We recently purchased a ceiling fan for our dining room! It works great!
The Henley shirts are also fantastic!
Glad you like the Henleys! mine is a little big ... need to down size ;-)
Like all the detail. Now I can go to Home Depot and "appear" intelligent. Thanks
I wanna gonna do just this in Lowes today
Helpful video, thank you
I need a fan that puts out tons of wind, I don't care about eco friendly, noise free or anything other than blowing the sheets off my bed. Can you talk about that?
I've tried all sorts of fans, if you want "wind", the best one that fits your need is get the large whole room Vornado and set on max. You can also by an outlet remote to turn it on/off (if you want to use a remote, you must get the manual knob version, not the button one). If you are looking for a ceiling fan, get the one with the highest CFM.
Height of ceiling?
Ya forgot to explaing about if anyone would need a brace to hold up the ceiling fan if you are takin out an old outlet box to support the weight just sayin
We're talkin' bout ceiling fans....😁
