  • Session 2, Reading 10: Probability distributions
This video continues a review of quantitative methods in the CFA. This is reading ten. I'm dividing them to two parts, so this is part one and the next video will be part two. In this part one, we'll look at common probability distributions. Specifically, we look at how we tend to characterize random variables with probability distributions. We will be very specific about what we mean by probability distributions. It needs to meet a certain definition. We will also look at the important ones, or at least the extremely common ones, among a much wider set of possible distributions that we could use.

Your videos are greatly helping! I find myself struggling with higher math, as I am an accounting major. I breezed through financial reporting but quantitative methods is a struggle. Thanks a lot sir!

Thank you very much for all your videos! I'm doing my second read through for the level 1 exam and these videos really help solidify all the concepts.
Is there any way you will be done with all the videos in the curriculum by the December 2019 Level 1 exam date?

      Hi @
eaglesfano4 I'm really HAPPY to hear you find these CFA videos helpful! No, they won't be done by Dec 2019 simply because we are producing these as FREE videos to build our general youtube audience. They aren't economical for us, so they cannot be a high priority. I enjoy sharing them, but their schedule will thusly be gradual and without deadlines. Thank you!
