    Hello Sambit, Thanks for the Video. You have mentioned the job search year visa (Zoek Jaar) will not count for the EU PR will it count for Dutch PR? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sambhit
    Could you let me know that Is zoekjaar 1 year visa will count in NL Permanent Resudency?

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před 7 měsíci

      For NL PR, the zoekjaar time is counted as a stay but not for EU PR

    Congratulations.. one question please. When you say continuously stay in Netherlands for 5 years to get EU PR, not even one month gap? We can't go for Home also in between for holidays??

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před 2 lety +2

      Continuous legal residence means you need to be registered in the Dutch municipality. Obviously you can go for a month or 2 to home. Please check the website in video description to understand this in details.

    Hi bro is study period+ job searching period counts??

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před rokem

      Please check the EU PR shorts there I have explained all the conditions. For Dutch PR every uninterrupted stay counts fully but for EU PR the job search period is counted as zero and study period is counted as half.

    2years Masters + 3 years phd = total 5years of only study (not do any job) can I directly in Netherlands please reply bro if u reed this comment

  • @rajarshichatterjee3281

    So with the EU PR can you apply for citizenship in any Schengen countries? Are you eligible to do that ?

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před 2 lety +1

      As of mentioned in the video, EU PR gives you right of residence not citizenship in any EU country. You can only apply citizenship in that specific EU country where you satisfy all the criteria which is not dependent on EU PR. For example getting Dutch citizenship is much easier than getting EU PR from Netherlands!

  • @babybegum9684
    @babybegum9684 Před 2 lety +1

    Does master year of 2 year count towards citizenship when we are studying and after finishing switch to work permit so for example 2 years + 3 years on work permit total 5 years that lead to citizenships. Waiting for your reply buddy make it clear? Still confused?

      Master year is considered temporary-purpose residence which I don't think count for citizenship. For permanent residence, this is counted only half of the duration.

    Please answer this, i would be grateful.
    a) In UK you need Skilled worker visa to stay in UK after masters psw, which is very difficult to get this is why I am not going to UK to pursue 1 year master.
    Same is the case with Holland or any type of job visa will work?
    PS: The goal is to get settled their via student route, my field is IT.

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před rokem

      After studying masters in Netherlands you can apply for job search or orientation year visa to stay for max. 1 year. If you get a job earlier then fine otherwise after 1 year you can't stay if you don't have a job or work visa. I have many videos on this on my channel. Check it

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před 2 lety

      The plan was to increase from A2 to B1. Please check the DUO website when you prep for exams to know what has happened

  • @x2twinsfanboy914
    @x2twinsfanboy914 Před 2 lety

    I guess it' s still A2 for people who are already in not sure if the info is correct about B1

    • @SambitPhD
      @SambitPhD  Před 2 lety

      As I said because of the new changes in rules for Dutch exam from Jan 2022, better to verify this with the IND and DUO and may be also check the websites in the video description as to what they mention.

    • @xiaofeli4828
      @xiaofeli4828 Před rokem +1

      The requirement is A2 in 2022 and recently they announced that this is still the case for 2023. Exception is for those who falls under Wet Inburgering 2021 (arrived in NL from 1 Jan 2022 and inburgeringsplicht/obliged to integrate) , then B1 applies.
