I sold the manticore. It's a great detector. But rather use the dues 2 and the nox 900

Tell Calabash about that device on your wrist that turns the camera On/Off. "GoPro stop recording" lol.
Sensitivity is too high, quiet that girl down. You'll get more apparent iron falsing.
You're not getting a ferrous tone:
Turn on All Metal.
Turn on Horse Show.
Use ferrous custom and adjust it to capture iron.
Mode, if you're not sure what you'll find, then use Beach Surf & Saltwater.
Silver, use AT High conductors.
What is your Recovery Speed?
I think you may need to sweep faster?
High Recovery Speed is good for TID, Pinpointing Target Trace, target separation and reducing depth. I think it also helps reduce EMI, I forget?
Low Recovery Speed will increase iron halo falsing.

Thank you. I was using at general and at high conductor, 5 tone enhanced. And recovery speed of 5. Didn't change anything else in them programs cause it was first time in the field. Sensitivity I had at 25. And haha I had to send the go pro back unfortunately thing kept over heating in 50 degree weather. I'll just keep using my dji
@@Get2Diggin No matter what audio theme that you use, if you get a TID and a Target Trace it's most likely a shallow target.
Tones with high Recovery Speed is good for audio TID identification, shallow colocated artifacts and unmasking.
Depth or Prospecting audio with low Recovery Speed, good for digging deep artifacts. But it requires a quiet detector, lower Sensitivity. You're either looking to dig the deep iffy signals. Or pass on deep targets. You can quickly without looking at the display pass up a target or stop and investigate further.
I'm still trying to determine my go-to audio.
Begin with Surf & Saltwater mode, that's our go-to mode. The other modes are for cherry picking, that is if you know your soil and your desired target.
Setting Ferrous Limits:
Collect a few pieces of (small) iron artifacts. Rusty crown cap, tack, nail, thin dime sized sheet metal, bobby pin etc. Then collect gold and silver artifacts. Now customize your Ferrous Limits.
Build the ferrous limits around the gold and silver Target Trace. Then if necessary, adjust for the iron.
Everyone that I've seen customize Ferrous Limits does this backwards.

I don't anywhere they are in stock. I lucked out and found a guy local that was selling his. Only reason I was able to get one. Thanks for watching. There is a couple on ebay for sale. But for more money.
Brother I can’t believe You missed those nails with the deus II LOL I spent about an hour yesterday chasing some because they were deep but I lucked up and found a 1926 mercury dime and a 44 wheat cent. Good finds Brother the more You use the manticore the more finds there will be I’m sure 👍🏻

I think I would start getting frustrated with ask those nails. Hopefully they get that update coming soon. Over aa great machine. Just hitting on a few to many nails. I'll stick with my deus 2

Well I went over this same yard with the 900 in a video before the manticore. Reason for the title. I might do a video soon comparing the signals. But both the 900 and the manticore has pretty much same vdi numbers on the same targets
