Silver is naturally optimistic. But maybe he himself becomes afraid of being who he naturally is, after what it led to last time. Not just for himself, but for all those in the group. He doesn’t want to see them go through that again. Neither does the chief. And this is why both of them are a bit more resistant to the idea of thei4 being rea hope at first; but as time goes on Sver goes back to his true nature.

“Sonic was killed by the four horsemen of the apocalypse” is such a crazy concept but it goes so well right alongside 06 and Shadow and stuff. A very funny sentence I might at, but I’m fully on board.
Honestly loving the story so far, if this was a game i would totally play this! Glad to be a part of this, i'm thinking of some concepts for fan art i could send, this truly is a great Sonic fan collaboration!

I've really got to commend you for this. Encouraging your audience to be genuinely creative and building something cohesive as a community is something to be very proud of. Inspiration is a powerful thing and I feel that way more CZcamsrs should be using the platform in exactly this way.
I don’t buy the “shadow doesn’t gaf about the maria” stuff. There’s a difference between not caring and moving on. Shadow has no real reason to completely shun Maria, if he does i’d actually argue that’s an unhealthy coping mechanism. Which could be an interesting angle to explore, but let’s be real lmao.
@@crimsonzone8984 A couple lines at the end of the game don’t complete a character arc that was barely present for the entire game beforehand besides him wanting to know his past (which was already a contrived point in of itself).
@@realer2748 some people compare shadow's character arc here to sonic heroes, saying that both games had shadow looking for his past and later saying he's good with what he has now and don't bother thinking about the past. Are you sure that you don't buy pariah's take that shadow found out about his past and didn't like it and considers his past self as a different person rather than what than what he used to be?
@@crimsonzone8984 I should say I don’t doubt that was the intent behind the story, I just don’t think it was executed well which what I mean by “i don’t buy it”. It’s already one thing that they retreaded his arc from heroes, but I think the narrative would’ve served the resolution better if they didn’t pretend heroes never happened and instead had shadow not want to know his past while having it keep coming back to bite him. I feel Shadow just dropping everything he once knew after learning about it is an unhealthy coping mechanism at best. At least with the narrative I propose, Shadow could come across as actually wanting to move on. It seems the OG game has him just drop his past after deciding he doesn’t like it because it doesn’t really allude to that theme of moving on during any of the stories. Which, in my opinion, is unsatisfactory because it feels more like Shadow blacking out a part of his life, even the part that doesn’t deserve to be blocked out in Maria, as a trauma response instead of actually dealing with it (in a non violent way). That could actually be an interesting angle in of itself, but they play it as if Shadow is just totally okay forgetting the person who was closest to him, probably influenced him the most, and literally did nothing wrong. Maybe i’m letting my real world bias affect my view too much, but typically a situation like that means a person isn’t truly resolved/healed from their past.
@@realer2748 I think you didn't regard the fact that shadow isn't an emotional emotional person. Real world bias can still apply here since we're all have differences, and shadow is one of those differences with different thoughts and opinions.
I did come across a video titled The Real Dr. Eggman (The Real Japanese Character Analysis Of Sonic) It is more or less filled with his rant about what Sonic isn't, how Sonic is confident, not cocky, and how Ian Flynn is doing it all wrong because he doesn't understand Sonic. Also, he is kinda bad at Sonic games judging by his footage. Anyway, the main point is that he did mention that Eggman is a narcissist. And the thing about narcissists is they are really full of themselves, so full of themselves that they never see or acknowledge their mistakes. He also mentions that the therapy for narcissism is that they can potentially start to see the error of their ways once they lose everything and hit rock bottom. I'm pretty sure Eggman losing everything and hitting rock bottom is what happens to him at the end of some Sonic games but then again there is also no such thing as a Sonic cannon.
idk if you seen Father Elijah in Fallout but There is a thing called Trauma Vests iirc and obviously transhumanist cyborg tech I think Eggman should have prolonged his natural life with cyborg tech for a while and finally uploaded his conciousness but his body is still like a robot thrall that roams around like a boss enemy or someething
Gotta be a hollow knight type of theme. That or just have lyrics repeatedly saying "sonic was always good", but slowly getting bad like a malfunctioning animatronic.
I am so for hostile takeover of IPs like I would really like the idea that Pariahverse Sonic could happen and be a higher level of Canon than SEGA lmao
