Me, too. There are already plenty of babies on the show.
I think the reason for doing that is because Bailey is pregnant in real life and they trying to use her pregnancy on the show
@@violetmahlatsi2924 I understand WHY they're doing it, I just think it's a mistake and the show will suffer if they have a baby.
We know that other characters have babies, but we seldom see them. If John and Bailey have a baby, we'll end up seeing it in every episode.
Older children can be entertaining, but babies are boring on TV. The only storylines are 1. Baby isn't sleeping, so everyone is exhausted. 2. Baby pees/poos on people. 3. Baby throws up on people. Since John is a cop, it adds 4. Baby gets kidnapped.

Since Bailey decided in this episode not to go through IVF, hopefully they'll completely drop the storyline and just have her stand behind furniture for the rest of the season. If not, maybe they'll foster older children. That has made for some interesting happenings on 911 with Hen and Karen.
I feel like Lopez open the door for those feelings because she started getting pregnant last couple of seasons
@@violetmahlatsi2924 they aren't using the actress's pregnancy in the show. The show creator said it himself. And the actress is way too far along in the pregnancy in real life for them to introduce it now, thank goodness.
