This is a good video and a very well-done analysis of MOTU: Revolution.

Thanks for this. I don't want to give a company like Netflix my money, but I still like knowing what foolishness theyre propagating.

I admit that Revolution is much improved from Revelation. It does feel more like a MOTU series. However, I did take issue with a number of plot holes that I think could have been fixed, For instance, I found the plot point of Randor refusing to let Sorceress Teela heal hm (or at least attempt to do so) to be weak. I would have wanted to know what limits on Teela's powers prevented her from healing him or why she couldn't heal him.
I found the plot point of not being able to rule as both Adam and He-Man to be contrived. He-Man is a powered up version of Adam. He's a magnification of Adam's own abilities, not a separate person. Everyone knows that Adam and He-Man are one and the same, (ie, the secret is out) so there is no reason he couldn't do both, and no reason is given other than King .Randor thinks it can't be done. (How would he know? He has never had to protect Eternia as He-Man, and he doesn'tseem to understand what being He-Man entails. He says that being He-Man involves going off on adventures, but he seems to have forgotten how many times He-Man defended his kingdom and Castle Grayskull against Skeletor. He also seems to have forgotten about King Grayskull, who seemed to do both fine)
Also, not being able to do both contradicts our own history, in which some of the greatest rulers were also warriors (eg, Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, Julius Cesar, etc). I would have liked to have known what makes Eternia different from Earth and would prevent He-Man/Adam from ruling Eternia like our warrior rulers did with their empires. It would have caused what Adam does to the monarchy in episode 5 to make more sense.
I find it hard to believe that Adam would simply allow Keldor, a stranger who appeared out of nowhere and had never been mentioned by King Randor, to assume the crown. I would think that Adam/He-Man would be smarter than that.
I don't understand why Queen Marlena can't rule. She ruled with her husband before he died. I find it rather convenient that she has to abdicate the throne just because her husband died.
They seem to have forgotten that (per them) the facade of Castle Grayskull is supposed to be an illusion for the Hall of Wisdom. So I don't understand how Motherboard can mechanize its facade like she did, unless the mechanized facade is also an illusion. (Granted, Castle Grayskull was destroyed at one point during Revelation, but they dont clarify that the illusion is no longer valid.)
Admittedly, the plot holes are not as glaring as in Revelation, but they are still there, and some of them are difficult to swallow.

If all you have is a powerful character, heal everyone and keep them from dying, the ruins any sense of danger.

I agree, and I rather liked them setting limits to Teela's powers (ie, not being able to revive Preternia with her own magic). I would have liked to have seen more, and I think they could have put a more effective reason why Teela couldn't heal him by setting limits to Teela's powers For example, Teela can't heal him because her mother has already healed him several times. Each time Teela's mother healed him, she caused cells in his body to divide to repair tissue. However, cells can only divide a limited number of times, and King Randor's cells had reached their limit., causing multiple-organ failure. (In Biology, it is called the Hayflick limit). This would have enabled them to provide a plausible explanation that is even grounded in science. However, I doubt that they have worked out the "science" of what magic can do and why, which is a fundamental issue with the world building.
