Carte Blanche is a unique world fusion trio where Brazilian rhythms meet jazz standards, flamenco guitar and, French swing. Vocals are in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian. All members are SAMMIE winners (Sacramento area music award) for World Music.
Phil Summers (Spanish Guitar/Vocals) and Catherine LeBlanc (Vocals/Percussion) both received the Sacramento Area Music Award (SAMMIE) for World Music in the band "Yolo Mambo."

Phil has been performing since the 60s in many bands and has released 9 albums and several singles. Catherine has released 17 original songs and 6 albums.

Carla Campbell's Cuban and West African drumming is the group's heartbeat. “Your Life,” “Feeling Good” and “Caterpillar” feature a light pop sound, yet are still grounded in this group’s unique world-fusion style where Brazilian sounds, Gaelic jigs, Spanish flamenco and French reverie meet Etta James.
