I’ve never seen Waitress, nor do I know the plot, but every single time I watch this I end up crying due to the pure raw emotion that this kid radiates.
I just love watching the cast react while he sings. I pick a different cast member on each play through (I know I’m not the only one who’s seen it more than once, now!)… So great that there’s more than one angle.
Just can't stop watching this video (and the other angle)!! So cool that all the professionals on stage are astounded at how Adrian squeezes out all the emotion and power out of this performance! Got to believe that someday he'll be on Broadway!! So cool that they gave him this opportunity, and he crushed it!!!
The child sho enuf can saaaaang! But we can also take a moment and appreciate how AMAZING that band accompanied and amplified his heart wrenching performance! They sat in the pocket and let this child's talent shine in all it's perfection by simply allowing him to lead the pace!! Just a breathtaking performance all around!
this angle is great...seeing the body language of the pro's only amplified the depth of his talent. It's not so rare to see talent at his age, but it is rare to see someone his age embrace a performance with what I can only describe as true and real experience. Like he's lived something that he's living when he sings this. And that kind of exquisite pain is usually reserved to older people.
While the official released video from Waitress' channel had better vocal capture, THIS is the one for me. You can see all the actors, band, audience...and just how captivatved by the emotional, soul and incredible talent this kid was showing. Definitely have not cried to this performance countless times, nope, there's onions in the room or something. * continues to cry *
Watching the piano player look over with that look on her face never gets old. She wants to look at her music but keeps looking at him. Can't blame her. He is a very rare talent
How a child can emit that kind of raw emotion is mind boggling! He probably hasn’t experienced most of what the song demands but he does it anyway. I’m so happy for him that he’s going to Broadway camp. I’m sure we WILL see him on that stage again and probably on screen. And I love that high note he throws in at the end. I’m sure the idea is his vocal coach/mentor but he’s the one belting it out!
Everyone's crying. They all believe that this child is pregnant with an abusive husband.

This angle is the best. Take note of the guy that introduced him, it's like he is rooting so hard for him!!! Love to watch other perormer reactions!!

The one person who disliked this has no soul.
I love that you uploaded from this angle. It let me know that it brought the room to tears like it did me!

Brings a tear to my eye everytime I hear him sing with so much ease and passion

every time every time! i cry
The unity hug gets me every time. The love and support and admiration he must have felt in that moment!
I love seeing the performance from this angle. I love seeing how in awe of him the little girl is at the end of the performance!
I will never NOT cry to this. 😭Emotional wreck every. single. time.
