The most frustrating thing working as a graphic designer in a business that creates new businesses super fast (definitely quantity over quality over here) is that they don’t want to do any of these things. Even if I explain it to them, AS THE DESIGNER. They just want a logo without any research ASAP and want to incorporate icons that would not make them stand out. Even logo suites dont make sense to them…everything is just backwards, so this is refreshing to watch. just hurts my soul to have to do it their way and throw up my hands
I've been there! I used to work for a business that owned a bunch of holiday resort places and it was the exact same thing, it's so frustrating, even more so when they ask you do to something and expect it to be done in 15 minutes because they think graphic design is just drawing.
@@abiconnick right? it’s so infuriating! they forget there is an art to design and a process that needs to be followed. It’s not as simple as whipping something up in 15 minutes. 🫠 hoping to get out of this soon.

1st:- You have also made a video on the topic:- that if we download a paid font for free and use it in the design of a client and give it to him, we do not have a license, then there will be no issue or there will be no problem.
2nd:- If we download FREE (premium icons, illustrations from freepik,) that is, we do not have a subscription or license, then will there be any issue if it is used in the client's project?
You must add in the contract that the customer must pay licensing fees for fonts and other things،It is best for you not to use a free paid font because you may use it without knowing it and get into unnecessary problems
As for icons, you can check whether they are suitable for free commercial use or not
thats why i think its better to always customize the font

Try to do your videos in a more horizontal screen. Maybe yoi could use a different position set, or a wider zoom.
I would like Fox Network to use just the O as its logo, or even the klieg lights, while Fiat could use the four/five slashes of old cars.

I’m currently working on a logo for a media company that has a 6 word name. Is a radio station, uplifts the community, organizes community events, really grassroots. I’m like 😵💫 and the name is tied to the landscape and city 🤣. Hardest thing to design ever 🤣.

Your videos have definitely helped me understand the importance of doing your research in your client's competitors and niche, so that their logo is meaningful. However, it is STILL very difficult to come up with concepts, but I guess this comes with time and experience.

Sometimes these laws doesn't make any sense same in case of Twitter, Tell me one thing if the logo of twitter have had not changed by elon musk barely anyone noticed that it is acquired by elon musk but now due to Something different everyone is talking about logo it is bad good or whatever atleast it gets attention 😅 of more people.

I want to say, like we do research for any brand, but how will this research help the brand? What information do we gather in conducting research, and how do we apply that information to the brand?
Abi I've got problem with my designs , its been months of me watch your and other CZcamsrs tutorials and learning those sort of theorys and i even wrote long journal of things that i learned , but when it's time to sketch and make something just by myself its really not what I expect from myself, could you tell me to do?

It's 100% supposed to be pronounced "nye-kee".

@@hristenaaleksova2008 Google it. The UK has been pronouncing Nike wrong since the 70s. It's confirmed by the company as "nye-kee".
