The funniest part about Chris unnecessarily rage talking to a mindless animal is the fact it was once human.
It still is, and went after them for torching its chrysalid friends.
I don't think the giant snake was a human, I believe it is a regular B.O.W., like Yawn in the 1st Resident Evil
The interesting thing is that while Yawn was an actual (mutated) snake, Iluzija is supposed to be a mutated human. Apparently the C-Virus contains different animal's DNA depending on the sample

Also just to let you know , the progenitor family probably utilizes Morphogenetic resonate fields to mutate it’s host. The strain that created Iluzija if going by this theory literally has one snake gene in it and the MRF programs in the C-virus will draw the rest of the genes from the collective earth consciousness and rewrite the persons genome with the said snake genomes.

Weird fun fact: if you change the aim color in the game settings, it will also change Iluzija's color when it's invisible.
No actually that's the laser reflection. It's also a good trick to easily locate the snake. A neat detail from the game since light scatters when he go invisible.
@@surprisedtom8382this game has some of the best attention to detail. every campaign with it's own ui, all the combat animations, melee, gun takedowns, the interwoven stories mean you see and hear the other characters in the other persons campaign. The polish here is insane
This snake battle was like a predator and the prey thing.
Scariest part of the game, felt like older RE titles.
I can see why people didn’t like this game but it’s really not bad, it may not be scary but it’s still pretty fun, especially on split screen with a friend or relative.

Definitely. My brother and I always play this game a lot and still to this day. Plus if it weren't for these sequels I wouldn't have a chance to play the previous ones and the recent ones. Gotta start somewhere.

This part was awesome not only for the gameplay itself, but for how the boss interact with them like a Predator also in the builiding of the story, Chris being drag into madness and how his team is being decimate one bye one...again

felt like this snake was the actual predator from the movies
Why didn't the BSAA have equipment specialized in completely sterilizing contaminated biological hazards like acids that are just acidic enough to break down flesh or flamethrowers? The collateral damage would be astounding, but at least there would be little chance in another contagion.

while this boss is quite hard to take down, especially when in its special place, & the final boss is gigantic, but nothing give me the creeps like the one that keep on regenerating itself, u can't kill it but u just need to know when to beat & find a way out as fast as u can from the city

I kept using my flash grenades against this thing hoping I could blind it temporarily; since snakes don’t have eyelids. Boy that did just about nothing to help me.

Yawn was an actual mutated snake. This one was once a human, who was mutated by the section of the C-Virus containing animal DNA. As there's variations depending on which strain of the C-Virus you intake.

Only boss fight i liked. Simmons was too over the top and Ustanak almost works but he was never more than a worse Nemesis clone. Ofc RE 1 Remake had the snake boss already but i liked the tension of finding the invisible snake before it strikes here

He was extremely unstable after the event in Edonia. I have absolutely no idea why Piers needed him that much but yeah should've brought him to therapist first before bringing him back as BSAA captain.
Chris is still one of the bsaa most decorated soldiers, and don't forget he is the one who killed Albert wesker he may have his mistakes, but his creditonals speak for themselves

I really despise games like this that have you collecting score points. money used to mean something and it added an extra dimension to how you played it like you stop using a weapon you have ammo for to benefit from the free stuff you get with upgrades
Not only that, you get further blueballed because you can only has 3 of those upgrade equipped and all of them are very weak even when fully upgraded.

I remember doing this boss fight the first time. It sucked. It didn't even give you puzzles for a chance to protect your men. They just had scripted deaths.

Re is supposed to be scary , but yea chris is a military so its supposed to be action.
If RE was just one thing it would be boring. The reason re7 was as well received as it was is because it went smaller after the crazy scale and action of RE6. After thinking about it, im convinced that RE games are better off switching focus after 2 or 3 entries. Keeps things fresh.
My only annoyance is that Capcom didn't tie up more stuff after 6. But they seemingly never do a good job of completing stories.
