Its so strange how we connect songs to a certain stage or point in our lives. Back in 2007 I had to leave my home for the first time to work in another city. I had lived all my life with my parents and this was my first time. While I was packing my bags to leave, this song was playing on TV and it suddenly became my signature "Homesick" song. I remember crying like a baby that day. Later whenever I heard this song, I felt a deep urge to go back home and see my Mom and Dad, my town. Now that my Mom is no more, this song sometimes is very tough to bear ...so many memories. RIP Mom.

I just love the way this song and John Mayer touches my soul. John you don't know, but it's part of my life, I met so many nice people because of you. How I miss that time.
