Great video as usual. Not sure, on this occasion, but you mentioned wanting to earn £3,500 a month from CZcams. No problems with that. However, when a lot of your viewers are on minimum wage, they can only dream of money like that. Don't lose sight, lots of people with nothing, watch CZcamsrs like you to escape their lives. We all get down, but remember, you are the boss here, no manager and you're in the great outdoors.
yeh just a dream, ive been on the low end of the wage scale all my days but it is what it is, its lifestyle that counts some of my best times have been living on a fiver a day in asia and its a weird one my dream was to find something to fund my travels i kinda almost not really have that now but as you grow older (and have kids) those dreams... grow a bit, to be honest it is alot 3.5k a month but most of that would be for the kids school and living over there leaving me enough to keep travelling and i know That in itself might sound a bit odd but its far too much to explain in one reply and a youtube channel, ... nutshell, i want them to be safe and secure and feed my itchy wandering feet, ... we gotta have dreams though eh

Not gonna lie but when I first discovered your channel I thought is who this weird bloke that struggles not to burn food,
But I am still here enjoying the down to earth, from the heart content interspersed with a bit of chaos that makes your videos so easy to relate to and enjoy.
I may not do car camping but because of you I bought the same tent I saw you use in a video and I am ready to do a few local wild camps after checking out a few spots.
Don't lose heart keep doing what you do. Your walking means you cover a lot of ground, perfect for the opponistic forager. Right now keep your eye out for St George's Mushrooms. Catchyalata

Another great vid. Really enjoy the delivery of your outdoor activities. I think you encourage many people with limited cash to go out and enjoy nature and all from the base of an estate car. Brilliant! Other channels are good but use expensive motorhomes that many cannot afford. Some have conversions spending months doing and then smugly show you at the end how clever they are! You do not and that is the attraction you create. Solo travel with a 'down to earth' presentation for anybody to enjoy and copy. Great meals and a dry sense of humour inspires many. Keep going.

Today I met up with old school pals (since 1976) and we were talking about how ridiculously expensive the world has become. To the extent that I am thinking about full timing in my micro camper and giving up the rented house. I would save £1000 per month if I did. Since the marital break up it’s only me anyhow.
weird and difficult times, try it out first id say give it a week or two, its a small space for living in but i know what you mean about the savings but theres also the logistics, showering, laundry etc

But yes small space. I’m thinking if I did it for 6 months I could save £7000 from my salary. I can pay a fair bit of debt off with that.

The only foraging I ever did was for the old Lib caps haha. They grow wildly over rural Malvern (somewhere you’ve been before, my hometown lol) - all for the greenery and keeping it au natural y’know y’know! I've got the same LEDs in my van you should have left the rubber coating on the ones without it they short out when they get moisture on mine have been in my van now for seven years
You will find it the same in Scotland as it is in Cornwall. Locals are fed up of what they see as freeloading and not supporting the local sites. The abuse they have had is off the scale, parking outside their houses emptying toilet cassettes in lay-bys and ditches. They’ll give you a wonderful welcome if you don’t abuse their hospitality which I’m sure you wouldn’t but No Overnight Parking signs are appearing overnight. There are beautiful places with park up sites that are in some of best places that are really fantastic where I live for a minimal cost.

Mate i know im a year behind with your vids and i have no idea yet if things have improved for you, but working down the vids lol but i totally get it. I was a single mom (kids now older) but ive developed autoimmune diseases and had to drastically drop my hours at work and now struggling for money to pay the mortgage and been very depressed for months BUT ive found your vids and you really perk me up. Id dropped my dream of a campervan but nowi know i can do it for next to nothing. Thank you mate, Thank you

There's loads of places to overnight in Cornwall! I have discovered that google maps and/or google earth is far more helpful than park 4 night. Most of the places I have stayed aren't even on there!
i think u might be right but the last thing i want to do is drive 300 miles to cornwall hoping i can stay is some layby ive found on google maps only to find the photos were taken 2 years agao and now there no overnight signs everywhere, its why i use park4 night nut i do want to overnight down there just heard terrible reports of people and fines everywhere

cheers buddy much appreciated, pushing on trying to make a dent in the youtube algorythm ... thing is youtube has changed the algorythm lately to favour shorts to compete with tik tok and its been hitting alot of channels in the view department, dont really get it on a personal level atm but hey we push on ... towards the dream ;), yeh 3.5k would be basic living with paying for private schools for 2 kids but its never been about cash for me just a lifestyle id be happy in a wooden hut if the kids were provided for and i was in a nice place
