“Love On” by Selena Gomez premiered on February 22nd, 2024, along with an accompanying music video directed by French director Greg Ohrel and filmed at the iconic Villa de Leon in Malibu, California. The song is purported to be the lead single of her long awaited album SG4.
Selena’s official fan club began to tease the song a week before its release with different messages sent to fans to unlock a lock that contained part of the song’s lyrics and its release date.
Later, some locations were unlocked where you could find heart locks with more parts of the song lyrics.
With the code set to ‘222’, fans interpreted it as a possible release date - February 22.
On Thursday, February 15, Selena confirmed in an Instagram post, that the track would drop on February 22. She captioned the announcement, “Wait ‘til I turn my love on. Presave my new song ‘Love On’ out 2.22.”
