Thank you SO much for listening! - Hudba
I am an Englishman, and proud to be. However, in my younger years I served with the RAF and had two fantastic postings to Scotland for a total of 8 years out of my 12 years service. The places I visited, the stunning mountainsides, and scenery as if Gods own back garden. It was a privilege to have lived with such amazing and generous folk as the Scots. Every region has their own unique dialect and custom. This beautiful collection of music brings those memories flooding back. Thank you.
Lovely to read your words. I am a Scot lived in England for many a year, married an Englishman who spent 22 years in the RAF. We get back occasionally. Each time, the feeling arises on seeing the border sign at Gretna Green. ....... no feeling like it.
God bless Scotland and the Scottish people. Greetings from Brazil.
bless brazil xx

My biggest dream is to visit Scotland 💚 my soul loves the music and majestic beauty of it.
It’s a braw bricht bothy region in which tae take a romp! This music almost gets ya there!
Living in Edinburgh, I can only say living here feels better each day.
Hello Bell Rose, how are you doing?
I'm mexican and I hope to visit Scotland one day, greetings to all good and brave Scottish people
Me too!
I have a Scottish friend, actually now family, and I am totally fascinated by their customs and culture and just the fantastic and ever friendly people of Scotland. He hails from Lewis Island and even his parents are wonderful people. I have traveled extensively as I used to work for an airline but sadly I have never visited Scotland and I guess my heart will forever yearn for the Highlands of Scotland. I am from South Africa.
That moment when Ancestry DNA says that you have Scottish heritage!! :) :) Now I am listening to this music and appreciating my roots. :)
Hello Meghan, how are you doing?
@@edensullivan5325 doing great Thank you!😊
@@MK-bq1hh ,It's good to hear from you, Am thrilled by your comment, How are you doing today. And please where are you from ??
The pipes ... the pipes ... across mountains high, valleys low, & waters wide ... they do call to me ... : )
Haha, same here. 21% apparently.. does that qualify me to be a fifth Scottish? ....
Though I am not a Caucasian in this life, i was a Scottish in my 2 past lives there. No wonder i kept feeling a 'longing for home' everytime I hear the Bagpipes.
You are not alone in your past lives words. Way to go.
I'm an Appalachian Chisholm, descended from a convicted Scottish rebel, indentured to a Virginian plantation owner. If I had the means, I'd live in the Highlands for the rest of my life. The pipes are something other-wordly, and the drums, and the kilts, and the brogue - they all stir me to the bone. THANK YOU for sharing these wonderful pieces!
I live in U.S.A. from West Virginia, but now in Georgia. My heritage is traced to Scotland & I feel so connected even before I knew. The music has always struck me to my core like...home.
Most of my Direct Ancestry is in Scotland. Like you I knew it in my heart before I even saw the genetics. Genetic Memory is a really interesting theory to read about
For 60 years I thought I was German because I have a German surname, but never felt any interest in things Germanic. Finally had my DNA done....44% Scottish, the rest a mix of Swedish/Danish/English & French....only 3% German...no wonder anything Scottish has always stirred my heart.
@Jared Allred Oh if I ever get the chance, I certainly will! 💙🤍
I'm jealous. I wish I had a scottish heritage. I'm a mutt of germanic europe.
I feel the same - I AM very german, but don't even drink beer haha, I really don't have any interest. The only cultures that have struck my interest are Native American, Scottish and Scandanavia@@deerhaven3350
Long live the brave Scotland and the spirit of our common Celtic ancestors! ❤️
Greetings from Serbia!
🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴 🏴
I have had my family traced back to almost anywhere from the UK, but most excited that it was traced to Scotland. It's also cool that THE Sean Connery played the role of my Uncle Richard in a movie.
I just recently found out that a good chunk of my heritage goes back to Scotland. I even found that my 12-13th great-grandfather even fought for Scotland and died in the Battle of the Pinkie. So listening to this music gives me a feeling of pride ☺️
I'm Hispanic born in the U.S. and I don't understand why others don't listen to beautiful and relaxing music like this 🖤🖤
God bless you Scotland from an Englishman.
Your music I have always loved and kept in my heart.
Hello
@@edensullivan5325 linda musica
Saludos dede Tx
The perfect music to play while simply enjoying the vastness of the open plains and rolling hills around you. I love how music from certain cultures reflect their culture so well, as well as the land they live in. Music tells a story, and this is why we need cultural awareness. Music opens barriers and does magical things to people.
I have Scottish ancestry on both sides of my family….there is something about Scotland and it’s music that calls to my soul even if my people no longer live there!
My father is a true Scottish all the tribe CLAN STEWART will love this when they hear this. Carmen stewart.
Aye!
Hello Carmen, how are you doing?
Is Stewart spelled in the French way? I ask because the only Stuart I know of Mary Stuart, the Queen of Scots.
Music reaches easily across language an cultural barriers and reveals to us the soul connection that we all share.
Ach, braw Scottish music. Loved seeing the scenery of bonnie Scotland whilst listening to the music, ...'tis making me homesick. Greetings from Oklahoma, America, from a prooud MacKinnon. Audentes Fortuna Juvat to all my fellow MacKinnon clansmen out there. Slàinte Mhath🏴
While I am not a fellow MacKinnon I am from Oklahoma and of Scots heritage my biological father is of the Logan/Maclennan clan. Like you I feel homesick for my homeland.
The music makes my heart sing; the scenery takes my breath away! How I want to make it to Scotland, to meet family of the Wallace clan, the see this gorgeous place in person, feel the grass beneath my feet, the sand between my toes, the water on my skin; to experience the culture, the music, the people in my soul. Brings tears to my eyes
You will get there, and you will love and appreciate every second of it! When I’ve been, it’s touched my heart and soul in a way I didn’t know was possible. Brings a tear even now. I hope you get to go soon; you will love it even more than you imagine! 😊💛
Growing up here was a belter, the music, the people, everything like that. Brilliant
Hello Dear, how are you doing?

@Eden sullivan Hello Eden, originally born in New York state, raised near Cleveland, Ohio, but I've spent most of my adult life in California. My home is about 80 miles east of Los Angeles, and I can see I-10 down the hill from my back yard. Here is a thumbnail bio - I am 71, work full time at a job I adore, have 5 children, 3 grandchildren, 1 greatgrandson, and a herd of cats. Dogs are tolerable, but I cannot tolerate a dog that barks! I am single, love to read, coffee and black tea, working in my yard, singing (and can't wait until our church choir starts back up). I am a practicing Roman Catholic and involved in a fair number of church activities. So please share whatever information about yourself you wish!

Meanwhile, I've stated to watching Outlander series and here I am.
Gettings from Poland!!!
Stay safe.

Outlander brings me home, my ancestors are from Galway, but we traverse through Scotland.
Anyone else annoyed with the crazy long repeats? At first I was loving it, but after a few minutes felt like I was in Memento.
🏴🇺🇲 I appreciate my Scottish Heritage and roots.
Always loved the ENGLISH COLONIES and how their peoples so deeply respected their master. But Scotland is my beloved one!!...

Where was your stomping ground down there, John?
When I worked there, Kennesaw was definitely the weirdest. Buckhead, Mableton, Suwanee, those were all a bit like the suburbs around here- even Marietta wasn't so bad. Chateau Elan was awesome- worked for a bunch of Braves & Falcons out there. Beautiful golf there too!

anything but relaxing and if it was "Traditional Scottish music" you should at least have listed the tunes.
