Pleased to see this review since I just got this pen, albeit with a steel nib, a couple of weeks ago. It's far and away the most beautiful pen I've ever had. I never get tired of looking at it. Mine wrote ok out of the box. Just "ok," because the tines were misaligned a bit. I managed to get them in line, and now it writes great, but I always feel that one shouldn't have to do this with a pen that costs this much. My only negative on the pen is the captive converter. I would like it more if it were screwed in, because I doubt the long term durability of that situation, and because I like the option of completely disassembling a pen for cleaning. Love this pen, and enjoy your reviews.
I could not agree with you more. I have a grande with a stainless nib and the arte deco with a gold nib and these pens are incredible. Hope to see you more often in 2020. Thanks
Roy: Seems to set up a contender for the most savage pen of 2019 Me: This is it, this is the one. My wishlist price is gonna go up again. Also me: *eagerly awaits the award show*
I think, the M1000 or the MB 149 are not the correct models to compare, as they have much bigger nibs. The right products would have been the M600/800 (both real pistonfillers) and the MB 146 (pf as Well). But still, this beast is about on par with them (Missing only a real piston and an ink Window).
Worth every penny and much more! I was waiting for such a pen in this price range since 2016 (when OMAS went under) and Leonardo delivered an affordable yet worthy alternative.
I had ordered a Grande in the Sand finish with a steel nib. Unfortunately, it was stolen from my front steps. I now want to replace it with a gold nib Grande
Nice review, engaging & entertaining while being chock full of interesting bits. The section is not one I can enjoy with the brief writing I've done with Leonardo pens. I agree with the quality & writing experience. Maybe if I had one, I'd get used to & learn to enjoy.
The Grande is too big for my pocket but I have the regular Momento Zero in a beautiful verde finish. I feel like it was the grail pen I didn't know I was looking for. It writes like a dream and is just gorgeous.

I've had this pen for a few months now and love it! Leonardo is quickly becoming my favorite brand.

Excellent! Would you prefer this over the Visconti Homo Sapiens? Is this similar in size?

Welcome back to youtube!
I got one of these but I think it is a 2020 Dark Hawaii. I can't unscrew the body to see the ink I draw up
Happy New years and many more reviews I hope are coming.
