    It works by being very energy intensive, making any work it does pointless. It also works by being very expensive and not very scalabe. Mostly though, it has worked very well in the greenwashing of large industry and governments trying as hard as possible to avoid changing the status quo.

    They should reuse hydroelectric plants to power stations like these, while moving the grid towards Nuclear energy. Also, to those in the comments section berating carbon capture technology, I would point out that no amount of trees is going to capture all the carbon we burned from deposits in which it was stored safely for millennia. One plant over a short period of time won’t fix the problem, but it’s a start.

      FORMULATED MICROCRYSTALLINE WAX WILL CAPTURE CARBON
      The heat loss from a smokestack can be forced into a large tank containing hot liquid microcrystalline petroleum wax. The heat will keep the wax at a molten state which facilitate the carbon to be absorbed when combined with the wax. Carbon when mixed with wax reacts like a dye. The wax-carbon amalgamation result into a black wax solution thereby making it impossible for the carbon to escape into the environment while in a liquid state. Other toxic particles are also captured in the wax settling at the bottom of the tank forming into a sludge. A sludge release valve is located at the bottom of the tank. After the sludge is removed more wax is replaced in the tank working something like a toilet. The sludge becomes a byproduct that can be used as an additive to asphalt for roads or used for cocooning nuclear waste materials for long-term safe burial. The entropy of the Earth has been increasing at a startling rate since the beginning of the industrial revolution caused mainly by the carbon that is released into the atmosphere. Government scientists have failed to stop and prevent carbon pollution from entering the environment. This problem can only worsen until a solution is found before this problem becomes irreversible. It has been discovered that formulated wax has been shown to be the only answer to this problem. William Nelson waxogen@gmail.com

    How is MEA safe to use and how is it discarded when its efficiency has ended? Also, what's the heat source?

    Hello, do you have any suggestions for co2 separation in the wellbore? I'm thinking of removing the co2 down hole before it reaches the surface.

    Very well explained. How is the boiler energized to provide the super heated steam to heat the MEA- fossil fuels?

    • @SalveMonesvol
      @SalveMonesvol Před 2 lety +1

      You could use fossil fuels. It's not like you wouldn't know what to do with the effluents.

    • @gregorymalchuk272
      @gregorymalchuk272 Před rokem +1

      Superheated main steam isn't used to desorb the carbon dioxide from the MEA. Low pressure, low temperature, low value steam bled from the last stages of the low pressure turbine is usually used. This keeps the thermal efficiency penalty to the power station to a bare minimum.

    • @saikumargorakala
      @saikumargorakala Před rokem

      It’s actually reboiler called thermosyphon reboiler. Saturated steam is used in shell side to heat the MEA to desorption of CO2.
      Superheated steam normally won’t use because of its less latent heat.

    The flue gas from where CO2 has to be extracted, has a temparature of 160 degree Centigrade itself.
    Can someone explain??
    1. So, do we have to cool the flue gas? In that case there will be Cold end corrosion due to SOx conversation to Sulphuric acid.
    2. If not cooled, do the MEA solution really absorb CO2 from a 160 °C flue gas? Because it is being told that the solution releases absorbed CO2 at 110°C only.
    How does it happen?

    • @wakargillvlogs886
      @wakargillvlogs886 Před rokem

      yes, we recover heat from flue gas and utilize it for heating purposes and then cool flue gas will pass through further absorption and desorption process.

    I’m disappointed to see ABB jumping on the carbon hoax bandwagon. CO2 varies with temperature from the 400’s to the 600 PPM. Life is carbon based, and CO2 is heavier than air, so CO2 never makes it up to the stratosphere 7+ miles high. Build a simple grade school terrarium and don’t put in anything other than plants. The lack of CO2 is what not only stunts the plant growth but what eventually kills the terrarium. I did that in elementary school in the 70’s. This is proof that not only is the BOE worthless, but college is a money racket.
