Every actor, director, music director have their own period of time for glory. During that time, they were basking in glory. Earlier, MSV was the best music director, and then Ilaiyaraja ruled the tamil industry during end 70s and 80s. When Rahman came, trend change and shot to prominence. Many talented music directors like Vidyasagar, Keeravani, Ramesh Vinayak, etc didn't get their due recognition they ought to get. Now trend are changing, A.R. Rehman took the music world to international level. So now producers are going to young talented music directors like Gibran, Iman etc.
