Nick directed a lot of TV shows and movies and even was in a few movies before Nick did Cheers.

Similarity with MASH with cast changes through the years.

Do you have a 1983 Austin City Limits episode from Season 8? The last episode of Season 8 featured Loretta Lynn & The Coal Miners.👍

Of course I love Ted and Shelly as Sam and Diane but...but...what I wouldn't give to see just once Fred Dryer and Julia Duffy as Sam and Diane, cause just the difference in their physicality, their physical appearance, would be amazing to see given the dynamic of course of the on screen relantionship Sam and Diane had during the five years these characters were on the show...

I don’t think everyone’s jaw dropped, Ted. Actors. Such Schmaltzy drama queens.

    Shelly keeps interrupting Ted...

Now you know why they said she was difficult. 😆

Would give anything to see their screen test? Supposedly their chemistry topped that of Fred Dryer and Julia Duffy and William Devane and Lisa Eichhorn.
It's always nice to hear casts get along great, but if Shelley wasn't considered "one of the gang, with the cast, then life imitated art. One of my favorite episodes was the one in which she helps Cheers beat Gary's tavern in bowling because she needed one PE credit in college. Even Carla was impressed!
