Not sure what I enjoyed more, the sound of that old six, the beautiful scenery, or the view from that old truck! But put it all together, and wow what fun!
Good to get it back on the road again. I started following on the dogelac, your video let's build a rat rod was very inspiring to me. Now I'm driving my 1st build the 39 chevy named Valda. I'm currently working on my 2nd build a 1960 vw bug on a lifted 4x4 toyota chassis. Thanks for your inspiration and know that I am so blessed to share all this with my grandkids 😁👍
It doesn't take more than 50hp (on a good day) to have fun. It also doesn't take more than 50hp to produce goosebumps on my arms. The sound.. Thanks for the ride, Ken! The barbwire is such a nice touch 😄
Lol ! You had me gut rolling on the "Old school" reference to points & condenser vs. the new rev. limiter stuff . Ha ha ha . I thank you for the ride through the valley , Ken . That sure was nice ! Babbitt bearings , & rod scoops / oil slingers . Still running fine , barbed wires & all ! Pretty slick that transmission adaptation plate ! We sure do appreciate you too , Waylon ! Adios there Victor ! Thanks for helping out our brother ! We sure do appreciate you too ! P.S. I always hit the like , right at the start , so I don't forget . Take care , All !
That old cheby pickup keeps on rollin along as the built her so many years ago. I dare say that will not be the same with the cars and trucks built today.

Good Sir, your skills never cease to amaze me. That adapter plate fabrication was some mighty fine ingenuity. My hat is off to ya. Great hot rod ya got there. Enjoy it, it keeps ya young. Til the next one, I'm rootin fer ya.
First I wish Victor safe travels. Wire I stumbled on your chanel.when you were riding around in the orchard truck and going buy a mail box of some kind I was hook ever sence. I love the rock o Billy so glade you didnt put a L S in it. That is a true self built show stopping car. Thanks for the ride.❤❤❤.
You've got quite a view...thanks for the ride-along. I think I have been watching about 5 years, and it was the Rockabilly that brought me to your channel. Seeing it run makes my day.
Great video Ken been watching you since 2016 ,I was in Tri-Cities Washington in a hospital bed you and your fellow U-tubers helped me through a rough time and I'm still watching thanks for the entertainment
I love seeing those air cleaners. Such memories! Sometime when you are running a holesaw in aluminum try using ice water instead of oil. Works great and is cleaner.
Thanks for the ride along, Ken... That was fun! Kind of reminded me of cruising around the back roads in Selah, where I grew up in the 60's. Love that old Chevy pickup!! Russ
I did the math, and I've been watching since early 2011. You had built this truck by then. But, the first videos I watched were the progress of this truck being built. I was fresh out of high school and used to watch over breakfast as a freshman in college. Somewhere I have a burned disc with an animation project (that had you in the credits at the end) because I used the engine sounds of this old truck running down the road in it, probably in 2012.
Hasta luego Victor ! It sure was nice seeing You again. Best Wishes to You and Your Family. Thank You for taking us along for a trip around the neighborhood Ken. What a treat. You explaining some of the features of the '32 reminded me of listening to another ol' Bird singing the attributes of an old truck he lovingly owned. When He started to wind down a little i asked, " About what year did You convert it over to rubber tires ? "... I was told that i had very intelligent hindquarters... Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
Ah, the satisfaction of driving something you have built. I'm looking forward to my next Goofy Cart test drive! I well remember the beginnings of the Rockabilly Rat rod.
Such a great adapter you came up with , it looks really pretty good the way it came out !!! I love your Rock aBilly rat rod . It's definitely a one of a kind .
Wonderful time Doing the Rockabilly Rampage!! I think it’s an absolute hoot. Love the serenading Miss America though she needs to put on some weight and maybe change up the wig a little 😂😂!! Thanks for the ride Ken, Where did Victor go? Gonna miss him.. God bless , we sure do appreciate ya!!

hahaha.. Hardly!! "necessity is the mother of invention" growing up poor on a farm, we just had to figure out how to make things work! we had to use our brains instead of sitting around playing video games.
Found it❗Nice video, simple and slick❗😎 'Ya get a vision and know how to make it happen. Back in the '70s I built my own "TRUING STAND' for a HARLEY DAVIDSON SHOVELHEAD, "CRANK ASSEMBLY" that consist of 2 flywheels, 1 crank pin supporting a Male & Female connecting rods and 2 output shafts, centered that the whole "ASSEMBLY" runs on.For the "CENTERS" I chucked the bolts up in a high speed grinder and ground them to a point. Then welded a 1/4 inch round stock on the bolt head, 2 1/4 " nuts on each upright, all on 2 inverted angle irons for the stand ... and "VIOLA" ... ... I made a "TRUING STAND" Yea, EVERYBODY luvs the "ROCK-A- BELLY" and her ride. Still❗My favorite is the "DOGELAC" and SPRING is here. That car "RUNS" like my '69 Cobra Jet MUSTANG 428 w/4 speed. I LIKE that "DOGELAC" ‼
you still got Mustang? yep..spring is here and I have a few things to get out of the way.. another head gasket for the brat..(last one had an issue) drain and pressure wash my 4,000 gallon koi pond (major job calls for Noa's help) and gotta get Fred on his way..THEN... i'm gonna drag (push rather) the Dojellac into the shop! shortly after the first of May.. you with me!!?? mortal support? haha
