I'm glad to see Reggie Hayes working again. He said he had a difficult time finding work after Girlfriends ended which led to him falling on hard times financially and going through a depression.
so insane no one was calling him up for work cause based on girlfriends alone he' so talented! he just has such a good sense for comedic timing
I think everyone but Tracie Ross had it hard after the show which is sad because they are all talented actresses.
Typecasting will surely do that to your career regardless if you are a great actor/actress or not
Also he is black and there isn't/wasn't all that much demand for black actors (because black characters are fewly developed and if there are they are often stereotypical and 2 dimensional) outside of black driven projects (which, let's face it, are often very budgeted and scaled down in quality).

@@1934jackson basically Ava only got her job because she saw the superintendent cheating on his wife with the deacon lady at her church. So she blackmailed him but on back to school night he revealed that she no longer has an advantage against him because he remarried to the lady he was having an affair with. So now that she no longer has dirt on him and the school is in desperate need of money he’s basically putting her through hell.
Abbott Elementary is the greatest show on TV!!!!
