Oh yeah I used to be like that. For some reason, for a good 5 or 6 years, I thought some sort of scary being would come out of the water if it pooled too much.
The industrial-looking ones freak me out the most. Not only are large moving parts under there and it is who-knows how deep, but that there might be electricity, or chemicals that would turn me into Joker or something should I fall in. I've worked security in scientific facilities that had rooms like that and it gave me the willies. I was always thinking that I might walk in and find a body floating face-down. No thank you.
@@Deeznutz... since I wrote the comment I have gotten out of security and had some manufacturing jobs. Now I think underwater robots are cool. I'm 18 and never learned how to swim cause of an intense anxiety of drowning, most likely because I almost drowned when I was a kid. I still remember the feeling of my side hitting the pools deep end floor, and whenever I'm near a pool or a lake I can already feel the suffocation and can't get very close without having a panic attack. This summer I'm tackling this fear with a friend and I'm terrified.

Same, they still do. They are called pool filter covers or pool drain covers. The covers if they are flat, ones in the picture are VGB (safe) but flat drain covers are extremely dangerous and can cause entrapment. It's the pump under it that is the scary part.
I don't have this phobia, but these pictures are like the ones in the videos "places you've seen in your nightmares" and they're dark and there's no one around so it's still scary
Mine started when i was 8 while watchin titanic theres a scene where i tot its a giant hands of a creature floatin and the water is so green it turns out its just a painting.
I've swam in a pool that was about idk,,, maybe 11-13ft? I never could make it to the floor unless I had a place to kick off of, that's only because I can't hold my breath for very long. Nonetheless, these sloshing sounds make me want to either go swimming or drink some water, nice video. I seem to be on a watching-commenting marathon for these types of videos and I'm all for it
When I was a kid I was afraid of bodies of water at night, especially the ones that were not lit by lamps. I often imagined driving a car into a lake and drowning.
All those r to deep for me not the fact how u almost drowned before and that’s how I got aquaphobia I do go in pools but the ones that aren’t deep and I will never go in a deep one unless I learn how to swim-
When I was young, I dreamed that I could breath under water. And when I woke up, I was in a ocean with my family, and I could never remember how we got there or when we got there, it happened all the time when I was young Idk sorry if I'm bad at explaining 💀
Fun fact: my aquaphobia is so bad I can't have a bath and have to shower instead

I mean who even takes baths tho
