They are the cutest lil babies. I want the little one with the back stripe on his or her back and the black hove.

Oof. You have had a rough time. I’d say half of our uterine prolapse cows die.
    I’m glad it worked out.
    Great bottle holder!!
    Take care guys,
    Annette 🌺

I have raised dairy goats 30+ years. One year we had 3 blizzards and multiple kid deaths. We don't normally get a lot of snow but that year was horrid. This year 1 kidded so far. We shall see.

Oh my word!!!!! Bless your hearts for having such a rough kidding season. I've had cows prolapse before giving birth and after giving birth. Sugar water....and push it all back in. Sometimes even having to sew it shut for a week or so until everything shrinks back down. They make a prolapse spoon for goats and sheep with a harness to keep it in until the swelling goes down. Thankfully I've not had it happen with any of my goats.
I've had people ream me for removing the placenta after it comes out to keep the goat from eating it. It's very common for them to choke on it. So it's not worth the risk for me.
Congratulations on all the new babies. Ya'll did a good job. Whewww!!! Thanks for sharing your adventure, I have 3 more due in the next month.

I will always remove the afterbirth because of that. It was so scary to watch. We hope we never come across another prolapse again, but if so we’ll be a little better prepared.
