  • Fun workout!
All saints holds a fantastic and mellow sounding ring of 10 cast in 1957 by John Taylor & Co.
These bells are possibly the nicest handling ring I’ve rung on yet, they all go incredibly well and are very smooth going, the ropes behave nicely so the bells are easy to handle on.
The acoustics in the ringing room are very nice too, a soft and mellow hum which sounds very nice to the ear!

Certainly did help, didn’t really feel at all exhausted.

@@JoeAustt That’s great! One note I may add, personal preference, but when a tail end is as floppy as that one - i find it easier to make more loops, to reduce the risk of you lassoing yourself!

Firstly I must say that I ring in Cornwall and so don't do method (but do rise and fall in peal). That withstanding why do people never pull the handstroke until really late on larger bells with method ringing? Just seems to waste time once the sally starts bobbing. Not a loaded question and genuinely interested to know as I watch more of these videos.

It’s more of guiding it than actually pulling when ringing up.

Wooden ceiling boss or knackered pulley?
