Nice build! Very nice
Seen a lot of these videos on here but you explained it and video was very good thanks
Always put a fuse at the positive terminal of the battery so it's protected at that point. Other than that, good build!!
Nice video-- however, one slight flaw in the design. You're running all the power through the master switch and volt meter before hitting the fuse box. That is the weak point and potential for heat/fire risk. You may want to splice an in-line fuse in between the battery and the master switch. Plenty of room and fully protects the system. Other than that, looks great!
I was just gonna comment the same thing but figured I’d read the comments first to see if someone else had made the comment already.
Instead of putting an inline fuse before the switch you could rewire the fuse block between the battery positive post and the fist switch,no?
@@walleyeye Absolutely.
how do you determine how much amp do you need for the fuse in between the battery and master switch?
eXCELLENT VIDEO! THANKS FOR THE GREAT WIRING TIPS!
🎉 excellent job and Video explanation…!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙏🏻
Great video, I see where I made my mistake building mine, time to move some wires around for mine
Thanks. great explanation for the SPST Rocker switches.....
That is a darn good job I've made a few of them for the family and they are handy ....thank you for the video
This think would come in handy!!
Fantastic video! I totally think I could make one now. I want to make one with a regular rv battery to power a 12v fridge and some usb plugs. I just have to figure out a good way to get my mc4 wires through the box cleanly and weatherproof.
nice job cool i have 2 18 volt Lithium battery 5,3 Amp with 12/24 dc power supply out 9 V 2 A and it will work
What a power box to charge phome possibly some tablets. Mine is small simple 20 volt lithium 100 wh tool battery. 5 volt 2 usb outlet 20 volt lithium battery adapter, tool battery quick charger done.
love the walk though so were did you get the fuse box
Beautiful syistem 👍
Great video mate, very helpful. Thank you.
very good job, after I build mine l'll sent you a pictures.
great video. thank you. well made
Very very interesting video, thanks.
nice work good explanation Thanks
How do you charge the battery? Please demo...thanks
Awesome brotha.... what components received the fuses?
I notice that none of the power box builds include neoprene or rubber washers to help make the box waterproof. Any reason for not using them?
How many times you cut your fingers on that screw right by the handle bad spot for that
How do you charge the battery? Do you just open it up and use a battery charger? Maybe add a charge controller to use solar to charge.
My plan exactly! I’m going to attach solar so I can carry a mini panel with me and that’s how it will charge!
@@JHicksJigs Hi I am planning to do this setup but dont have a solar charger, how do you think this set up will be charged?? just remove everything then charge it via wall?
I can't figure out that battery. I've never seen a 12-26 amp. A link would be great.
Nice job. Zipp ties will make look cleaner.
greatful if you could share wiring diagram for this stuff sir. Thanks
How do you charge the power box please?
Well doné
شكرا لك أخي الكريم 👏👏❤🌹
do you have any info on the case itself?
Great video. I am building a powerbox also. I am adding a solar charge controller and input glands. You can see it on my channel if you want some ideas.
How heavy is this box?
How has it held up?
It’s held up great been camping a couple times and I keep it in the back of my car for backup. Weighs maybe 5-8lb.
@@JHicksJigs im trying to decide what i want to build
I tent camp and want to kayak camp
So far ive only roughed it and conserved power but phones dont last as ling as they used to and man do i take alot of photos.
that looks like a lead acid battery ...so soo 18th century...
It keeps the cost down and works very well. I use many of them. Greetings from sunny Jamaica.
