I have had the same HID bulb since owning the car. HID bulbs I have read typically show their age after 4 years so it really is time for a new bulb. I've made this into 2 parts as its a little complicated and I wanted to show all the steps you might have to take.
Here is how you replace the bulb in an Jaguar XF - Facelift. It's not easy!!! The bulb is an OSRAM D3S as is the OEM one (4500K approx) 35W. With 4 year warranty.
Take you're time and find the bolts and nuts to remove.
Suggest releasing all the nuts for the bumper, then move on to the nut at the rear of the light.
