+Benjamin Beytekin The operator was around 60 years young. Played that Cat like a violin. Never any dangerous moments either. Took several days and I had a great view from my dock job next door.
Excavators have Superseded Track Shovels many years ago ! you can see into the Bucket of an Excavator , you can fit many many attachments like Selector Grabs which eliminate hand work which you cant do with a Track Shovel. Track Shovels are for building up formations with some load and carry operations
Running that Track machine on there is screwing up the Sub Grade and mixing the moisture in making it into a Putty Consistency!! , if dug with and excavator, it would be clean and ready to receive stone.

Gonna have to wait till Summer before you can get compaction to pass. That track loader just works alot of moisture into the subgrade. Should have used a trackhoe instead.
Well David, there's no time to wait til summer to built the new warehouse. They only remove the topsoil, than soil stabilization with lime, than gravel and than the concrete base for the building.

I don't see these in Canada.
Because of a track loader is more manoeuvrable and more versatile. Here, only the fertile top soil should be removed.
